    The trails are so cool because of the outdoor art around the trails. There is also a cool amphitheatre and now there are two wings to the museum.

    The permanent collection contains an AWESOME modern art portion and it is free to the public. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in Raleigh.

    Recently went and saw the Da Vinci and MC Escher exhibits. Amazing! The regular collection includes some fascinating Ancient Greek, Roman, and Egyptian pieces.

    Terrible music venue. The pit sits higher than the first few rows of seats making it impossible to see the stage. Rude staff, no ADA area that's actually marked. Will never see a concert here again.

    Depending on the types of art that interest you, there appears to be a little of everything. Including a little walking trail. Good for a couple hours.

    Decent museum. Too much security walking around, causes it to lose the relaxed atmosphere you would expect to have at an art museum. I do understand the need though. Not enough parking.
