pork belly buns, barbeque pork buns, and teas are on point. beautiful place.
An amazing list of different type of teas. Ask your server with preferences as you most likely have no clue what any tea is
Religious/spiritual group affiliations aside, this place is a very relaxing and enjoyable Chinese-style tea parlor with tasty snacks and small plates.
Chicken noodles are the best!!!
Tea! Impressive tea collection including oriental beauty. Yummy lunch boxes too. Will be back to try green tea soba and a few more items on menu. Great staff as well.
Fabulous gem in the heart of midtown. Didn't try any food but the menu looked fantastic. Tea selection is the most in depth I've ever seen.
If you want to try green tea, try the Dragon Well. It's a cute quite place and great for conversing with friends. They also have a library inside.
North Midtown oasis. Great place to relax, read or play a board game.
The Moroccan mint tea was great. Be sure to order the soupy pork dumplings!
Overpriced even for its class and slower service than I could have imagined. Really wanted to like this place.
Come for the lunch special dumpling bento box and order a pot of authentic Chinese tea. Peaceful and relaxing sanctuary helps you escape the hustle/bustle outside.
The "Crystal Shrimp Dumplings" are very good!
Get Wellness soup, chicken & woodear mushroom, handmade pork & vegetable dumplings & Chrysanthemum & E. Journey teas. Head to Radiance in E Midtown for more upscale, "wellness-themed" Canto dishes.
Their teas and desserts are great but their food is hit or miss. Our BBQ pork buns came undercooked and doughy.
Soupy dumplings Are great ... Service .... Not so much
Get the dumplings.
Everything is good here!
Soupy pork dumplings lunch box! So good!
Veggie dumplings. Yes. Spinach and mushrooms. Yes!
Tranquility in midtown!
Try the summer treasure tea!
Great prices for menu items, service was a little slow.
Such a charming, serene tea house in the middle of crazy and loud midtown. Service is gracious, if slow. I'll be back--this was a human place!
This is my favorite tea spot in Midtown. Quiet, peaceful, lovely bites and a tea list that's divine.
This is one of the best restaurants
You can get tea to go from here! They make it quite quickly. Iced mint tea is perfect on a hot midtown day ;)
Overpriced. Small portions. Lots of rain.
Try the ocean breeze tea. Very smooth. No need for sugar
Great atmosphere. Soupy dumplings and iced teas are the best.
Yummy shrimp wontons and lavender tea
My client just told me about their new 208 East 50th St location. Healthy Chinese food e.g. Goji berries + dates thrown in. Chinese herbal soups. One of few places in NYC where you can buy Pu'er tea!
At $9, the Green Tea Cold Noodles is perhaps the most budget-friendly of the larger dishes, to make for a filling meal.
Try the Ancient Path tea!!
The second show for our 2012-2013 season has started so it's a pretty stressful time for us. This is the perfect place for us to relax and find the most calming tea on the menu!
Great Atmosphere & Food...
Green tea utopia dessert. Don't leave without one.
There is no boba. None. I repeat. No boba.
Food and tea are still quite good. Service this time was horrible. So bad it might be our last visit. Painfully slow, wrong order, not good at making any amends. #Fail
Lunch rush seems to be terrible now which I guess means they throw reservations out the window??? This was great back in the day...
White Monkey tea is fab. Very gentile and soul-fortifying stop in a frenetic city.
Don't come here. They support Chinese cults.
Peach paradise - ice tea!! And mochi plate
They serve boba here!
Such a great experience.
The chicken wontons are phenomenal.
Oasis in Midtown. Get there and then Zen.
Great place to hang out with friends on a relaxed weekend afternoon, and sample a wide variety of interesting tea.
Hot almond milk tea. Cold wellness elixir tea. Really good.
Try the Shrimp Avocado - Great choice
Try the Steamed Egg Custard
