Ikkousha is good. Bario is over-rated!
Try bario. Yummy pork and garlic broth.
Gantetsu special ramen!
Ikkousha IMHO Is The Best !
Bario was really bleah. Very oily, greasy and salty and charsiew was only so-so. Spicy Miso Ramen from Menya Iroha was great though! Love it!
The Bario Ramen sucks! Soup tasted good but the noodle is too much and you wil get sick of it really easily.
New challenger . Buta god
Gantetsu is great. Ask for extra butter! It has a pretty strong, rich flavor and the noodles are springy.
Butter corn miso ramen from gantetsu is not bad! Bario has good soup though!
Take my recommendation. Try the Ikkousha ramen stall's tonkotsu ramen. It is one of the best ramen in Sjngapore. No doubt about that.
Gantetsu Hokkaido tonkatsu ramen! <3
Try the red king cha shu ramen, get the large size to satisfy your hunger!
Ramen: Tried 4 of 6 stalls. Tetsu: chicken/seafood base, stingy w chasu. Ikkousha: Most porky base, fine noodles. Bario: Ramen thick & chewy, base garlicky! Menya Iroha: Lite & fragrant soy base.
all the Chefs are Japanese! you can eat the most traditional Japanese ramen here~~ there are many small stores in it, you can choose which type you want, but they are all good, many populous noodle~
The tsukemen by tetsu or taishoken.
Like their page on Facebook and you'll get free spring roll!
Can't go wrong with buta god. Its a big meal though
ordered from buta. much flavour many spicy
Bario if you love bean sprouts and thick noodles; Buta God is an interesting variation (sweet broth and does not do your usual ajitama which is fantastic); Mendokoro Aoi is pleasantly mellow.
Good ramen, good prices, comfortable eating environment. Always one of my favourite ramen places (: get the bario or itto ramens, my personal favorites. If you love meat, buta god is good as well.
BUTA GOD SPICY NIKUMASHI IS AMAZING
Oishi ^__^ Bario is great but there is too much noodles.
Hokkaido ramen not good for me. The soup, the noodles and the pork is all bland.
Buta God - Ramen Champion - Bugis+ - Singapore
Ramen from Gantetsu is great.
Gantetsu has great flavour & textures, lovely. Not a fan of Bario's really: too garlicky & the noodles are way too thick to have a bowl full. Winner of this round: Gantetsu
Gantetsu ramen is awesomely good!
Tonkotsu = pork bone soup. Boiled for over 11 hours.
Ikkousha was amazing! Soothing pork soup with really nice, smooth thin noodles. Yum!
The Ramens are generally quite salty, so do remember to drink lots of water!!
Some good ramen and gyoza here. Must try ramen from Bario!
Great Ramen. All the Ramen here are fantabulous!!!
Ikkousha's ramen still my fav for now
Best ramen shops in Singapore. All chefs from Japan.
Hakata is great! Bario's soup is too oily, noodle too hard but meat is tasty... Recommend hakata!
Super thick noodle of bario does not impress me. Also the tons of cabbage slices in the soup is too much for me. But the soup is nice, which is quite common be found in other places
Try out their tonkotsu ramen champion
Try the beef god ramen at Buta God. Big portion, lot of beef and tasty soup. Yummy !
Love Buta God. Bario used to be my favourite but it's standard drop since the last time I came here. Dislike Gantetsu Ramen. No "wow" factor at all..
Try the Hokkaido Miso Tonkotsu Ramen @ Gantetsu, it's excellent!
Located on 4th floor of Bugis shopping mall. Head inside and then up the escalators.
Weird but very pleasant experience!
Do not choose the ramen with the Garlic flavour with Flat Noodle...It didn't cut it!
I always loved ramen but this "Special Tonkotsu Ramen" is on a whole new level. I guess they don't call it "special" for nothing.
Beef Nikumashi Ramen is a must try! Tender sukiyaki beef and rich tonkotsu broth, the noodles also taste great in the broth.
Walk around and decide what type of ramen you want before ordering. Bario is fatty and rich but the meat is really tender and flavorful. The picture is tonkatsu (i think) though
6 ramen shops in one place! Unfortunately either I don't like this style of ramen or I chose the worse one of the lot. The Bario ramen was average and the soup was thick but unflavourful. 5/10
