People tend to check in during these times:
Nice play to celebrate an occasion, good music
Can't speak for what it's like in the day time but it's pretty amazing at night, £15 entry fee after 22.30 though.
You could get lost in this place. You can go for food or for a drink. Not cheap so unless you have the money, plan another venue for later.
Bit over the top.
Live music, decor, service
Take the time to walk around the place, it's interesting.
Springbok and ostrich were amazing! Zebra was a bit chewy but that's expected. We had 50% off, otherwise it's quite overpriced. Nice decor and good for large groups
Хороший ресторан. Большой выбор блюд. Вкусная еда.
Incredibly expensive but a really good and authentic South African restaurant with a great menu. Evening dances are awesome to watch and it's perfect for large parties.
Worth having a cocktail at least to check the mind blowing decoration
South Africa (Around the World in London)
The ham and wildebeest starter os amazing. The kingklip was divine. Well worth the price!
Pretty average food, not very South African at all. Looks fancy but food doesn't live up to it at all.
Book Shaka Zulu click here
Try the ostrich and zebra it's amazing
Tried the crocodile spring rolls (starters). Not bad. Try them if you're scared of being too adventurous! Taste like chicken/ lamb.
Amazing atmosphere- the Bar Menu treats are better than the official menu. Take a Taste Card and look out for happy hour booze specials
Great ambiance with great food. Crocodile cigars is a good experience. Oro dragon is also perfect
Stylish and amazing ambiance. Food is hit and miss, drinks pricey if not happy hour. But go if you want a night of good music & dancing into the early hours of the morning.
It is all about drama but behind it there isn't much.
The music in here is second to none. A very eclectic selection of African influenced music played as well.
Overpriced and kitsch. The Cappuccino creme brûlée is a pleasant surprise.
Try the Springbok carpaccio - Melt in the mouth
Try the Rooibos Smoked Salmon - Gorgeous!
Shaka Zulu was ok at best. Food was ok too. We got moved along from our table shortly after eating as it all descended into a strange multistory club. Good for a lads night...
There's nothing authentic about this OTT, South African themed bar, it's as real as Las Vegas. Expensive and underwheming. Avoid.
I love Shaka Zulu! You will be amazed to see hand-carved African carvings covering all walls!
Give this restaurant a try, shake things up a bit in your culinary routine. The food is excellent!
Phenomenal decor but get a discount voucher first as the food is a little expensive, good but expensive!
Took my kids here for lunch and they loved it, the decor is every part as delicious as the food. Heavenly
Great live band and cocktails
Amazing Deco!!! Club is nice but restaurant is better to enjoy and really get the atmosphere of the place.
Place sucks ass bartenders suck great environment though besides all the stuck up women
Try the soft shell crabs, steak with peri-peri fries and the koeksisters!!
Dom pedro at 7.50 is better value than the 9.00 cocktails!
Interesting place, but just far too big to be taken seriously. The foods not bad but a little overpriced and service is a tad lazy. Good for a cool cocktail on a bar crawl though.
We went to the Bar area. Poor service, took 20 minutes for someone to take our drinks order, another 30 mins for 4 cocktails and we felt rushed as they gave our bill to us as soon as we'd got our drin
The ostrich carpaccio is amazing but the ostrich from the Braai section is to die for!! Don't go there when is too busy as you will wait a bit more and service won't be as good and personal.
Free wifi in here - also Mini-Me may be sighted... He was dining when I went!!
The koeksisters are amazing. The dom pedros were disappointing.
