    I don't know why these people doesn't respect international travelers! Not enough english signs, and they don't write the Flight's destination in the check in counter, which might get you confused.

    For non Chinese there is a wifi station at gate 19 T1. Use passport to scan and you will get a code. The phone code does not work.

    Do not leave the gate if staff tells you your flight is delayed. We did and missed ours. It was not delayed after all! Don't trust the screens anywhere.

    Beware of this guy. Dishonest‼️He detour to a longer route to cheat more taxi fare. Moreover, his taxi was very stink with bad cigarettes smell. Mind you, his dangerous speedy driving pattern

    Good food choices. If you are going elsewhere in Shanghai the metro is great and if the direction is good for you the Maglev train is worth the extra money given the speed.

    Take the Maglev to get there from the city if you can. Be wary of unlicensed cab drivers who try to scoop you up from outside the arrivals lounge.

    For Asia it's decent. They are improving a lot. Lounge not so good. Highly recommend for cigarettes purchase as it is extremely cheap. Taxis are hard. Pre book car.

    Please check to make sure you seat belt is securely fastened! Your seat back and tray table are in the full upright and locked position & all carry-on luggage is placed completely underneath the seat!

    PVG airport is the main Shanghai intl' hub. Well connected to the city via subway and maglev train. Quite far though. Land services tend to favor passengers of Chinese carriers (eg, lounges).

    For such a new airport, the choices are awful. The food is barely edible at almost all the restaurants, with few options. Security is always dirty, crowded and poorly managed. Shopping is also awful.

    Terminal 1 is a broken mess. No ATMs past security so bring cash as card usage is spotty. Limited amenities, no climate control and the staff could care less of your existence it seems.

    Just figured out that it's not because there are loads of ppl in Pudong but how they managed the lines. If I can prefer T1 or hongqiao over T2 at Pudong. In there they know how to control the speed

    If you happen to travel with China Eastern and no online checkin available, make sure you get to the airport early. Like very early. It took us 4,5h to get from the checkin queue to the gate.

    Fr airport u can take the maglev (high speed train 45rmb/pax) or metro line 2(7rmb/pax-it take 1hours to People Square-central of Shanghai).Remember change the other side metro in Guanglan Road.

    Be careful when choosing your next transport to your next destination. An airport shuttle could cost up to RMB650 to go to Shanghai. Choosing local taxis can end you up with a long queue.

    There is barely any expedited service for frequent fliers, and lounges are spread apart and not stocked well. There is a bus service from lounges to faraway gates on request.

    Competitive price of cosmetics in Sunrise duty free stores. Most products are even cheaper than Hongkong. Ask for express line for late arrival passenger in immigration and security check.

    The only airport in the world without convenience stores and fast food restaurants by the gates, only expensive sit-down restaurants, so be sure you bring your own food before going through security!

    Clean & modern airport. Taking the Maglev train gets you into town in about 7 minutes, but will cost you more than taking the bus or slow train. A taxi takes about 45 minutes.

    China Unicom SIM cards can be availed right after clearing immigration. It's a must-have in Shanghai as all free wifi signals in the city require a Chinese mobile number as your username.

    Get a maglev ticket to go into the city (50 yuan single trip, 20% discount showing your plane ticket). Once in destination, walk outside to your right and get a taxi from the official line.

    Wifi not reliable at all... Wasn't able to connect fromy iPhone. And you need to be able to receive SMS overseas as the passworf for wifi must be sent to your phne number.

    Not really worth taking the Maglev, as it stops in the middle of nowhere, from where you have to take the taxi anyway, and they mostly refuse to use the meter. Take the taxi right from the airport.

    Big airport, but always feels empty and cold. Not a lot of shopping, large corridor, dim lights. Skip people pitching car service near exit .. 600 yuan when a taxi or the subway is fraction of that.

    Transfers are horrible on this airport. Go through customs (don't forget a print out of your tickets, etickets are too hip), get your bagage, check-in, leave the airport, go to departures. RUN!

    Free wifi nhg phải mua sim TQ để lấy code,giá tầm 150-180 tệ,0 tiện lợi lắm.Sân bay sạch sẽ,rộng rãi,có đến 100 cửa 1 terminal,kiểm tra an ninh khá gắt gao.Hàng hóa đa dạng nhg đắt toàn giá gấp 3 lần

    Từ sbay có thể đi maglev(45 tệ/ng) nhanh,rẻ thì bắt Metro line 2,7 tệ/1ng vào đến trtâm Thượng Hải (People Square).mất 1 tiếng,đến ga Guanglan phải xuống đổi sang line đối diện chứ 0 lại quay lại sbay

    1 trong nhg sbay bận rộn nhất TG,bạn ngồi lên máy bay,nổ máy nhg phải chờ từ 50p-1 tiếng đồng hồ mới được cất cánh.Hầu hết nhân viên sân bay đều lịch sự,nói tiếng Anh tốt,trừ vài em ở duty free shop

    Просто доехать на метро. 2 линия. Ночью duty free почти не работает. Открыты 1-2 магазина. Поесть лучше до check-in. Около гейтов мало кафешек, и ночью они не работают.

    Lo mejor es tener el Maglev que te lleva a shanghai entre los 300 y 436 kms/hr dependiendo de la hora. Lo malo es que no hay wifi completamente abierta para todo el mundo.

    Огромный аэропорт ! Китай во всем поражает масштабами. Шел 20 минут к выходу С98, чтобы узнать, что выход поменяли на С220 :) зато, имея китайскую сим карту, можно заполучить желанный доступ к сети :)
