They were friendly, efficient and helpful, all while implementing heightened security to accommodate the NYC Marathon in which we were participating.

Good small rooms but awful long waits in the elevator

The hotel in general is great, lovely views from the rooms, short distance from landmarks and comfortable beds. But there's an important lack of elevators, you could wait up to 7 minutes to get a lift

It was old and smell of the chemical use to clean. Also, the Elevator was too busy

Great location, close enough to Broadway's theater but far enough from the grime. Good food choices around. Rooms are good and modern. Avoid lobby restaurants - overpriced and mediocre.

In serious need of renovation. The hotel has good location, however elevators are a mess, rooms are old and just look at the entrance..

Bathroom tip: While there is a large restroom on the lobby level in the back right corner, if you walk in the revolving door on 7th, take an immediate right, up a stair & find another small bathroom.

If one is looking for a Starwood chain hotel in Times Square, this is possibly the best option compared to W and Westin. Comfortable rooms and best thing is the subway exit just round the corner.

The gym is pretty terrible. Don't expect to get a good workout in, unless you just want a treadmill/elliptical/bike. Expect to wait at busy times.

Avoid avoid avoid - rates are ridiculous - 500$ a night for a dingy nasty tiny room with old carpets, cracked basin, awful noise outside from AC. For the same price you can get so much better in NYC

The good: great location, nice room. The bad: mediocre shower and free wifi only on lobby, everything is extra (room wifi, gym access,...).

Great spot. Nice views, but the rooms are a little slim. They use Starbucks coffee for their room coffee, though! Only about two blocks from Times Square and about half a mile to Central Park.

The lobby of this Midtown hotel is always hopping regardless of the hour. It's a great place to take in a ballgame at the bar, chat with friends or just people watch.
