Two things make Tei-An a Dallas must-visit: the restaurant's epic, fresh sushi and its rooftop patio. [Eater 38 Member]
Don't miss the white seaweed salad
Pro tip for the budget-conscious: Lunch is very affordable here.
The Toilets are wonderful!!
The best Japanese in Dallas hands down. From the owners of Tei Tei, this new venue is not so much about the fish - Tei An is a traditional soba house offering a mountain of hot and cold soba combos

A unique great place!
decent soba, heard 48 hour braised beef was good
They sell the black honey! :-D
Ridiculous. $14 for about 5 pieces of tempura? I'm still hungry & now I have to go get something cheap & horrible for me. Bleh. I will never come here again. Also, the service is slow. Double Bleh.
Best fresh uni in Dallas
Really great food. The kode cooked on the hot rock was wonderful.
Highly recommend the Curry Udon & Soba Ice Cream with black honey. You can't get food like this anywhere else in Dallas.
Guys, if nature calls, try all the functions on the commode. Don't be scared.
Check out the roof bar.
White seaweed salad and curry soba!
I wanted to like this place but I was not impressed. The ramen wasn't amazing but it didn't suck either. I just can't get over the unbelievably tiny portions! I will not be returning.
The white seaweed salad and soba ice cream are excellent

Delicious! We had the Tei tasting menu. ($50pp) Chef sent out 6 courses. Seaweed salad, tempura veggies, wagyu beef w/hot stones, CA & spicy tuna rolls (pressed), dumplings, green tea noodles. Yum
