The Abbot's Cellar is dedicated to the art of food and beverage pairing, with a focus on craft beer. The Food menu is driven by relationships created with those sharing the same passion for their craft as we do ours, written daily to allow the farmer to select what they feel is...
Menu is not vegetarian friendly on the surface, but ask for a prix fixe vegetarian menu and they'll put together an amazing paired meal for you!
This beer-centric restaurant has a mesmerizing display of glasses of every shape and size and an equally expansive menu. Pair a black lager with your grilled bison loin.
Sticky toffee pudding is a must. It's like a bread pudding, but coated with melted toffee & I could eat a 4x4 ft. pan of it.
Even though it's a dessert, sticky toffee pudding is the best!
Have to disagree with many of the reviews here. I thought the food was below par considering the price. Good selection of beer and wine though.
Lovely space, great beer list, BUT BLAH FOOD. Nothing seasoned properly or cooked well (some things were overdone, others weren't cooked enough). They skimped on veg. Gist: just come for a drink.
They have burnt toast beer!
Go for the beer, stay for the beer.
Impeccable unisex bathroom... high end candles!
Sticky Toffee Pudding, with dates and almond rosemary shortbread -- awesome!
Great beer paired with great food, and super friendly bar staff!
They specialize in pairings of beer and food, so be sure to decide what type of thing you want to eat before you order your drink, and ask for a recommendation.
Great Beer selection! Wonderful bread and a suprisingly satisfying main course considering the portion size was small. Really great staff and nice atmosphere.
Get the tasting menu with beer pairings. Just do it.
REALLY good food.
Wanna end your meal in fashion? Get the French press coffee on the dessert menu. Pure awesomeness.
Guys will go here for the extensive beer list. If you want wine with dinner instead, the Scherrer cab sav is incredible. Menu changes daily but if they have it, get scallop & crispy porchetta app
we don't need another AQ
Solid american fare set in warm, quiet atmosphere. Gnocchi was fluffy goodness, cauliflower soup was nice, sirloin med rare was decent.
Bartenders know their beer
from the creators of Monk’s Kettle in the Mission, it’s all about delicious food and beverage pairings
So so. Had chefs 3 course tasting menu with pairings. Beer was good. Salad had too much cheese and bacon. Swordfish cooked well but greens and squash so so. Coffee cake dessert & beer was highlight
Pair the Pork chop with the Walkers reserve Porter from Alaska and thank me later :-)
the yellow finn gnocchi, cranberry beans, oyster mushrooms appetizer...mmmmmm >> those mushrooms are to live and die for. Truly amazing appetizer.
Nice atmosphere. Solid meal and beers.
Milk Chocolate Pot de Creme, with hazelnuts and soft cream - yum!
Seared Lamb Sirloin, with parsnip purée, broccoli and lobster mushrooms -- excellent!
Red King Salmon, with Brentwood corn and pepperade -- pretty awesome!
Cumin Roasted Heirloom Carrots, with lentils and carrot purée -- delish!
Great Divide 'Yeti' Imperial Stout - omg, delicious!
pork chop is just ok
Sticky truffle puding is a golden shot!! A-ma-zing!!!
Great experience on opening night! Sat at the bar right next to the executive chef and got to watch the cooks work. Amazing waitress, great food, great beer selection. Had the quail and sculpin IPA.
