Try walking down the strip instead of cabbing it. It's beautiful and helps burn off the extravagant Vegas meals! Plus it was super romantic and cheap! Great for dates <3
Good idea: walking down the Las Vegas Strip while intoxicated. Bad idea: walking down the Las Vegas Strip while barefoot.
Mob attraction @ Tropicana is very cool! Real home movies. Role play with gangster holograms & actors. Mob personal effects. Cool souvenirs too! Do this it is worth the money & take your time :-)
People watching here is awesome...so many crazy characters!
Walk at night! Bring your camera! Make sure you know how to use it with the flash off! Enjoy!
Las Vegas the Strip
Dating back to 1931, the Las Vegas Strip is 4.2 miles long, home to 19 of the world’s 25 largest hotels, and their over-65,000 rooms.
I’ve had a number of extraordinary exploits happen in and around the Vegas strip. Unfortunately, I have an even greater number of contractual obligations that forbid me from speaking of any of them.
It would take 288 years for one person to spend one night in every hotel room in Las Vegas.
At night you'll run the gauntlet of people handing out girlie cards.
Avoid traffic on The Las Vegas Strip and I-15 by using Frank Sinatra Drive with access to Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Excalibur, New York New York, Monte Carlo, CityCenter, Bellagio, & Caesars Palace.
I ain't bored, I'm just accustomed to Cali.
Remember that while the hotels look close most of them are 2-3 big city blocks wide, making walking hard, especially when it is really cold or hot.
There is no time to rest in here... you must enjoy it all! 24h of fun, 7days a week!
Treasure Island, Mirage, Venetian or Palazzo - If you're coming from I-15, turn right on Buccaneer Blvd giving you access to all of these casinos without the traffic at Spring Mountain & The Strip.
The little cards being handed out are not baseball cards.
Feel free to punch the people that try to hand out prostitute cards every 20 feet.
Be sure to walk down to strip at night :) something crazy always happens !
The Strip is awesome! If you are in the mood for local sports check out the Las Vegas Locos at Sam Boyd Stadium every fall.
If you going to wear sandals make sure there comfy yet cute, avoid the heels! We all know beauty is pain. But your in for a lonnng walk.
Look up! There are so much more above the street level :)
always a great place to walk around intoxicated. just remember to have your room key or write it on your arm somewhere :)
Don't tease the street performers. They can be feisty.
Gross drunks everywhere!
Vegas was not built on winners. Go see a show and eat some good food.
Hotels have an average annual occupancy rate of 90%
Nothing beats walking the Strip at night.
Keep your eyes on the road and keep moving!
If you're looking to valet at Caesar's Palace, try the valet in the back for The Colosseum. It's generally less crowded when there aren't shows and open 24/7 unlike the shopping mall valet.
Wear comfortable shoes!
Grab a cooler and walk around the Strip. People watching is the best!
The famous Las Vegas Strip is not located in the city of Las Vegas, it actually lies within the unincorporated areas of Paradise and Winchester.
Watch out for the card slappers.
Compete with your friends to see who can collect the most naked girl cards
Try to not step in puke.
What happens here stays here!!!
30.5 million people, on average, visit Las Vegas every year.
When it's hot out and you're thinking "damn this heat sucks!" Remember, it's not this heat that sucks it's the Miami Heat that does.
Lots of drunk people everywhere (; so be sure to have a drink in your hand!
We dare you to pick a casino of your choice, take a Photo with any random Casino worker. Then Find An Elvis Presley look alike, and take a photo with them too.
Stop in at the Casino Royale for the best/cheapest margaritas on the Strip...($1 more gets you an extra shot in it) Then drop by the Imperial Palace for laid-back tables.
If you're headed to Bellagio and need to valet, try the North Valet off Flamingo. It's less crowded and closer to the action! It's also much faster when The Strip is jammed.
Wear plenty of Sunscreen Lotion. Daytime in Vegas during Summer is very hot. The best time to walk Las Vegas BLVD is in the summer evening when the Sun is going down. Much cooler temps at night.
Lots of hot girls, buy one a drink n u might get lucky!
