This was the worst Mai Tai I've ever had. Nothing like an original 1944 Mai Tai, and nothing like anything else I've ever had. Tastes like Bacardi and Coke and looks like it too.

The kava bowl was pretty good (pictured). The bahia was delicious and full of good coconut flavor.

Some say that Victor Jules Bergeron Jr., also known as Trader Vic, invented the Mai Tai. Still in dispute. A big garnish of mint is what you'll notice first, but the rum is what will stay with you. Read more

Awesome. One of my favorite restaurants. Layers of flavors and plenty to choose from. Most dishes are cooked over an open flame over a hot clay pot. Always consistently phenomenal

Came for the drinks, was surprised to find that the food is excellent! It's very expensive, but worth it for a special occasion. I just wish I lived closer so I could come here more often.

If they tell you there's a 30+ min. wait for a table, check OpenTable. You can usually reserve a near-immediate seating.
