I love New York. Plain and simple. The lights, the people, the stores, the beauty as well as the hustle and bustle. Exploring at night was tons of fun. I'd relive that adventure. NYC is a beauty.
Most crowded NYC attraction, be prepared for slow walkers! Billboard lights are always illuminated and awesome to see at night. Easily accessible by subway or walking. Lots of good eats on 9th Avenue
If you want to have the most amazing and enjoyable view of Time Square at night, you should visit like over the midnight. Is really secure and you can enjoy it in an other way.
Go there half an hour before it gets dark so as to see the lights with both day light and during night. Grab a drink and just stare the lights! Feels like u are a kid!
You have to visit here in your visit to New York. After that you will probably never want to go back, because it's really really crowded. But do it once!
This area was originally named Longacre Square but was renamed in 1904 when the NY Times moved to the skyscraper now known as One Times Square at 42nd St., famous for the Times Square Ball drop.
Very busy, day and night, with street shows.Lights at night are awesome, a picture doesn’t give the same impression or feeling of what is really the scenario.A place to visit if traveling to New York.
If you've never been to New York City. Then i recommend you come here. The iconic area now mostly pedestrianised is a hub for tourists, but sits in the middle of many great things to see n do in NYC
You don’t know you’re there until you are in the middle of Times Square. On a nice day it’s crowded but go to the top of the red stairs and you’ll get a good view that isn’t too crowded most weekdays.
Good place to go, see, take some pictures anddddd GET OUT OF! Definitely, you must explore other places in NYC to know very more interesting things that this amazing City has to show!
Great place for a unique NYC experience; full of colorful screens, restaurants, famous shops, Broadway shows, and street shows. Place for souvenirs. No1 place to see in NYC! A-must-see.
Over a million people annually flock to Times Square to greet the New Year. The legendary ball-drop is held since 1907. Enjoy the night - Lufthansa wishes everyone a happy and healthy New Year!
OMG! Sometime I forget I live in the greatest city in the world...until I go to Time Square especially at dark!! I took my good-friend from New Mexico to 42nd Street and we had the time of our lives!!
Touristy spot that usual New Yorkers avoid, but will pass by every once in a while to show visiting friends around. Colorful billboards and lively place. Good to check out if you’re from out of town.
Bring a picnic and eat it at the outdoor tables or the bleachers. Much better than paying high tourist prices for a mediocre meal, and a great way to people watch!
Every year thousands of yogi’s gather here to celebrate the summer solstice. Get your zen on in the middle of Times Square with free yoga classes & giveaways. Find out when on MetroFocus. Read more
Fun fact: if you want to be here for the ball drop on New Years Eve, you will need to be here by around Noon on 12/31. Yes, 12 hours of waiting. Watch it from home instead!
Everyone should see this place at least once. It is amazing at night but can get really really crowded. Depending on the time of year you can go early and avoid the crowd , take some pics and get out
This is our home turf! Look up at 1515 Broadway (the building with crown...or devil horns) and wave at VH1. If you're hungry, the best pizza slice in the area is on 43rd btw 7th and 8th at Bella Vita!
My hangout place! Always events the Revlon screen, stores, restaurants, big lights, Times Scare, believe it or not, Regal and AMC theaters all subway lines at the 42nd street station too. Top place
The most visited tourist spot on the planet. It continues to get way too commercialized congested and the remnants of what made NYC so great, are slowly fading. Props to the new seating, however.
It may take you 10+ mins to walk just one street block. You'll see lots of people dressed up in costumes that just ruin my childhood memories and nude wo/men. You won't see Mewtwo....yet.
Heart of NYC, with the famous red stairs. You feel empowered surrounded by all the hustle and bustle! Light up with billboards and live performances. This place has a charm.
If you're planning on coming here for new years, make sure you arrive around 3 or 4pm otherwise you'll be all the way at the back and will miss the performances!
If you don't mind not entering no store, be sure to visit it like at 1 in the morning, it's still kind of crowded but your able to take amazing pictures and truly discover the beauty of Times Square.
Times Square is the place to be. There is so much to do and so much good eats to choose from. Don't come here broke because you would be tempted to spend some money.
Wonderful energy & excitement!! Great restaurants all around, shopping and Broadway theaters. Excellent people watching. A MUST for anyone visiting New York.
A great place to visit to experience that New York vibe, a lot of people from different backgrounds, cool stores and overall just a awesome experience.
Naked cowboy may or may not be working for the CIA and tracking your thoughts. Elmo may or may not be tapping your phones. Abort your mission and return to your suburb
The African-American "Naked Cowboy" shown above busking in Times Square is one of the franchisees of Robert John Burck, the original Naked Cowboy. Robert John Burck from Cincinnati.
Do you like being in a crowd surrounded by flashy giant screens? Well this is a place for you. Worth a visit but considering all the scam shops around definitely the biggest tourist trap in the world.
