- mizz linJanuary 30, 2017Save your airfare to Hong Kong. This makes the cut ! Nowadays it is so hard to find great braised beef brisket n tendon even in HK . FANTASTIC sheer fine springy noodles ! Good , friendly service
- Bernard LimMarch 13, 2018Small bowl, best taste. Let me start with the noodles:like Dragon beard candy, lovingly rolled into the thinnest noodles. The wanton was springy and bouncy. Tad salty! :( But great to chewy on!
- Cheen The CuriousJune 25, 2019Feeling like a glutton? Order a plate of plain tossed noodles (choice of ginger + spring onions, or oyster sauce) & sides dishes of your fave entrée (fried wantans, beef brisket, etc)
- Elizabeth LeeDecember 3, 2016Love their wanton and dumplings noodle soup. Soup had a real full flavour to it and the wantons/dumplings were plump and juicy. Noodles also had a nice spring to them.
- Cheen The CuriousJune 26, 2019Fried dumplings are addictive. Their boiled wantans are bursting with prawn filling. The encapsulating skin is very soft (apparently specially imported from HK)
- Cheen The CuriousJune 25, 2019Beef tendons are stewed until jelly soft. Order it with your noodles, or if you love it, get a separate serving like we did!
- Cheen The CuriousJune 25, 2019Yes, a bowl of wantan noodles is small. Yes, it's pricey. Yes, the soup version is salty from the prawn stock. But still yummy lah!😋
- Ian ThomtoriAugust 16, 2015Great standard especially if u miss the HK food eateries & hate the lame SG version wantons. Beware of long Q. But turn over is quick. also means u need to eat faSt! Quite pricey too! #ThomtoriEats
- Cheen The CuriousJune 25, 2019Vegetarians can try this combo: tossed noodles in ginger + spring onions, with a side plate of plain boiled vege
- Yarn LamAugust 6, 2015Service is fast and food comes quickly. Love the fast pace at which this place is run. Reminds me of Hong Kong.
- Cheen The CuriousJune 25, 2019Where is Mak's Noodles? Follow directions to Food Street, which is towards the back of Centrepoint
- Yarn LamAugust 6, 2015虾子面 gives a taste of Hong Kong. Thin springy noodles, not too salty, just great!
- Chef Chan For Kam (Dicky Chen), previously from the Wellington Street outlet in Hong Kong, heads the kitchen here; reportedly for the first two years.
- Evan YeAugust 11, 2015Pretty good but way too expensive! Standards are pretty similar to its parent restaurant in hk at prices of 30% more. Perhaps a slight increase in quantity would be nice.
- Ken COctober 10, 2016Somewhat surprised by low score review. Thought they did an excellent job in bringing the flavor of HK. Beef brisket noodle soup was excellent!
- Lina YippySeptember 20, 2015The small portion "culture" from HK has brought to SG. Won't say it's fantastic, so-so only.
- What you are here for is the wontons. Because they are good.
- Eileen LinJuly 26, 2015I don't like to queue but jus want to try : portion too small and soup not that tasty .. Noodle texture is okay.. Beef tendon is nice
- CJuly 19, 2015Underwhelming. Although it is helmed by an experienced chef, the noodles were soggy and the veg too salty. If you've tried the HK one like I had, you'll be sorely disappointed
- Bernard LimMarch 13, 2018Now the soup is reminiscent of dried prawns. Tad salty too. Spring onion bits are fresh. The BETA BRISKET IS JUST AWESOME. MELTS IN YOGA MOUTH!
- SongJuly 19, 2015I queued for 30 mins and paid $6.90 for a small bowl of wanton mee which tasted nth like the HK's version, and did not fill even half of my stomach. Waste of time and money.
