Freaky good. Crazy rich unctuous broth. Thin noodles with bite. Service is a little hurried.

The pork buns are to die for an the ramen is 🙌. Go REALLY early if you want to avoid a 2+ hour wait

Probably my favorite ramen in town. The wait is stupid, though. I dine at 5 pm on Sunday when I want to avoid the crowds

Try the Akamaru Modern Ramen With Kakuni - Holy amazeballs. I'm in heaven. The noodles, the broth, the pork belly... I'm full, but I can't stop eating.

Delicious ramen, but I was disappointed that Ippudo doesn't have the perfect tiny little gyoza like they do in Japan. No free tea and pickles like in Japan, either.

Pretentious but tasty. What can I say? There's usually a wait so better have a place to go for a drink/app nearby. Also, wasabi octopus is killer.

The lunch special is amazing. Huge amounts of food for a great value. Always always get the Akamaru modern. Or the wasabi salad (not too spicy) and pork buns.

Their classic broth is amazing. The noodles aren't my favorite in Manhattan though. Very loud with communal tables. Worth a try.

Their signature ramen (akamaru) was pretty good but definitely not the best I've had in New York. Only saying this because the wait is incredibly long so I wouldn't go back because of that.

Best ramen in Manhattan. The cha siu is below average and it's pricey with a long wait but still a great bowl nonetheless.
