- Alexis BendjouiaJanuary 1, 2015The creste du gallo pasta with broccoli, garlic and chili was epic. You can order 1/2 portions, it was only $11 for a nice size! Strongly recommend the cod, squash and hazelnut dessert. Loved it
- Maria RiabtchenkoOctober 21, 2016LOVED. THIS. PLACE. The food, the service was phenomenal. This will be my new neighborhood go to. The chicken is a must if you love spicy, their pastas are great and definitely get the carrots!
- AmateurConciergeNovember 15, 2015Excellent brunch option if you can sneak in without a wait. The marzano baked eggs are awesome and saucy and the squash with cheese and lardons was FANTASTIC. Basil bloody to wash it down
- Marie La RueNovember 15, 2020Short, simple menu will please everyone. Can’t go wrong with caccio e pepe. Scene-ish spot for 20 something crowd. Dine with your girlfriends and up your IG game in the ladies room. Friendly staff.
- AlyssaOctober 27, 2015Definitely try one of the pizzas, served with chili oil, yum! The garlic bread and the mafalde pasta round out a perfectly carb focused meal.
- F. BastardNovember 29, 2016Vic's has never failed me. It's probably my favorite brunch spot in the city: bright and airy, laid back vibe, tasty and original dishes. The staff are pleasant and cheerful, too.
- Kayleigh HarringtonApril 10, 2017The perfect place for weekend brunch. Baked eggs and Bloody marys 👌 sit at the bar if you're walking in.
- Ben MackeyAugust 12, 2018Love coming here for brunch. The food is always good and never a long wait for 2.
- Leslie TengApril 3, 2016Baked eggs were savory with an unexpected (but very welcome) spicy kick. The bread was soft and perfect for mopping up the sauce. Great bomboloni too.
- Alex HunterAugust 9, 2021There are endless options for Italian in NYC but I love this for brunch. Burrata, Borsa, and baked eggs were all delish. I’ll be back!
- Christina ChinApril 30, 2018Seasonal menu where staples may get tweaked. Scone was really good and poached eggs wee filling. Coffee is strong and service was pretty slow surprisingly
- Jasmine MehrabiSeptember 29, 2019Omg the cacio de Pepe is perfect! Also had pizza and the carrot appetizer. Loved the oil and crushed red peppers with the pizza. I’ll come back for more pasta!
- David SchwartzFebruary 15, 2019Went for drinks and a few appetizers. Kind of wish we stayed for dinner as both the drinks and apps were on point. Give it a go, you’ll be pleased you did.
- Bin YangDecember 2, 2014Definitely recommend trying a bunch of pastas in small portions. Starters are fun (burrata, rabbit are both very well done) and the roast pork shoulder is delicious.
- Jessi SinghAugust 29, 2017In addition to the food - which I love - everything about this place makes me feel comfortable in a city where sometimes everything feels hectic and hyped up.
- There's absolutely nothing negative to say about Vic's. Every thing I had was excellent - do try one of the pasta dishes and the octopus.
- John ClineMay 22, 2016The garlic bread is unlike anything you've had before. Big, thick, filled with goat cheese, and delicious.
- Shira KarsenMarch 18, 2017Love, love Vic's. Can't go wrong with brunch here--The soft scrambled eggs, breakfast sandwich, potatoes all amazing. And the fumoso Mary is great.
- AUSTINJanuary 3, 2015Order the Basil-ica Bloody Mary during brunch for a basil infused vodka with a tasty tomato & balsamic mix topped by a fresh mozz/olive garnish 🍹
- Rory ParnessFebruary 27, 2016They took it off the lunch menu but if you ask nicely, they just may make you a porchetta sandwich. It's one of the best porchetta around
- Staff PicksNovember 14, 2014Order the "Car Driver" Bucatini named after the roadside spots where drivers would "refuel" their vehicles, & their bellies. It includes housemade tomato paste, chile oil, orange zest, & marjoram. Read more
- Joey LacusFebruary 5, 2020Whipped Pecorino, roasted carrots, Borsa, Pennette, Cacio e Pepe. Their executive chef, Hillary, is incredible. Love this spot.
- Rikin DiwanAugust 11, 2017I don't know why this place isn't busier at lunch time - great place to go with a large group of coworkers.
- Jenny WangJuly 29, 2017cacio e pepe is so simple yet full of flavor. Oh and the cheese sauce that comes with the crispy onions is crack.
- Justin BretonNovember 7, 2015Must gets include: crispy sweet onions, heirloom carrots and the borsa. We also got the soppressata pizza. It was good, but nothing special.
- Chelsea MurrayOctober 28, 2016Come for brunch or dinner. Food is always consistent and I love their soft scramble. Their smashed potatoes are the best too.
- Devon LawrenceJanuary 14, 2016Love the ambience and service and the food is fine, I just don't love it. It's not the same food as Five Points, but has the same exact vibe
- Ebee DJanuary 30, 2015Carrots, lilnck clams, cod, steak, pork shoulder. Service is attentive. Curated wine selection. Yummy Negroni. Toned down interior.
- Emily K.May 16, 2015For brunch, share all the vegetables instead of an entree (but if you do get one, the Olive Oil poached cod is a must).
- E DDecember 1, 2019Yummy food! Loved the pecorino spread and the cacio e pepe. Liked the prosciutto pizza more than pepperoni
- I demand you get the Fumoso Mary! made of mezcal, chipotle pepper times with paprika salt. Spicy yum!
- Joey JMarch 6, 2015Make sure to get their fried onion appetizer. It's essentially a gourmet version of Outbacks Blooming Onion. This spot has great ambiance.
- Kathryn DMarch 18, 2017Vibrant environment and excellent food. Lots of vegetarian options; don't miss the cauliflower.
- Elyse EstradaNovember 14, 2014I wanted to love it. Dinner was good but $$$ for meh+. My fave part was that their wines by the glass are on a table in the middle of the restaurant so you never have to wait for a refill.
- julia tFebruary 15, 2015Good date! Liked the wine selection. Tasty carrot starter and the cod main was delicious. Get the bread.
- aanwarJuly 12, 2018Dinner: Borsa pasta (get full serving. Half is not big enough) and for the apps definitely get the Garlic Bread.
- Varun ShettyApril 6, 2015All egg dishes are pretty solid for brunch. Be a brunch pro and get an order of pancakes for the table.
- Ashley RoseDecember 9, 2015Brunch at what turned out to be my least favorite of the cook shop family. the pizza and beets won - skip egg dishes.
- Saif DiaJuly 7, 2016Get the lamb belly. Excellent balance of crispy and tender, I addition to being well balanced
- Everything is good but pressed chicken, pizzas, and lamb sausage pasta are standouts
- Sam WinnickMarch 4, 2015Not amazing, wouldn't run back. The proscuitto pizza is tasteless but the chicken is awesome. The purse pasta is very good too.
- Erin SheaJanuary 19, 2018Delicious food. I recommend the sunchokes. If you're lucky, you may spot a celebrity or two!
- This place never lets me down. Great service. Good food. Also good for kids
- Andrew GaldiJuly 19, 2016Great pastas, tasty cocktails, and good service! The garlic bread is amazing
- Food is generally v good here BUT having eaten here every week for a month and spoken to Vicky (owner) everytime I find it poor hospitality that she has no recognition of her most frequent customers.
