Lobster waffle. Savory with a hint of sweet. So good!
Cozy and friendly neighborhood spot, good Italian food and pizza. House wines on tap are pretty good!
Friendly well stocked neighborhood store for liquor, beer and wine. Reasonably priced, too!
Stay away. Noodles taste like pre-cooked microwave meals. Bad bad bad.
The best coffee in Logan Circle is also the most expensive. Gorgeous space for working, relaxing, and meeting with people.
Sometimes I feel like Gordon Ramsay here, "Taste this. What does it need?" Hint: ask to add salt and cracked pepper to your salad. A little seasoning never killed nobody.
Renovated rent-controlled building with mostly small but well laid out studios. There are a few amenities including new roof deck, courtyard with grills and a functional gym w/ some cardio equipment.
Relaxed office, easy apts that start on time, friendly staff, online access to doctors & prescriptions. None of the frustrations of the typical over booked DC Dr office. 10% off membership: OMREFX14
Nice comfy atmosphere and expertly crafted coffee. Also a nice selection of pour-over coffee merchandise for sale.
DON'T go to the drag brunch: Bad overpriced food & drink, performances a mixed bag – large groups seem to enjoy after a few mimosas (avoid the tomato purée+rail vodka that passes as a Bloody Mary).
Overpriced low-quality buffet food, mediocre service, bad overpriced drinks. Drag performances are ok, not great.
Recently renovated Deco hotel on Ocean Drive. Enjoyed the rooftop pool & lounge, spacious well appointed rooms, and included hot breakfast. (-) Very pricy drinks.
The pizza is very tasty, I like the #17... however the service is usually slow and not so friendly.
For healthy eaters: Medium dressing here = HEAVY dressing most other places.
Dr. Lauren Stephens was very thorough and knowledgable. Decent selection of frames, make sure to nudge the salesman for a discount!
Try to go at off peak times, the line can be overwhelming in the evenings and on weekends.
