HISTORY • April 10, 2010This area was originally named Longacre Square but was renamed in 1904 when the NY Times moved to the skyscraper now known as One Times Square at 42nd St., famous for the Times Square Ball drop.
Travis W. • December 11, 2009Whenever I go to NYC, I spend some time in Central Park with my iPod and a book, watching people play on the huge lawn area.
Got K. • June 5, 2014Spent half a day here and was NOT enough time to absorb the history. This museum is a MUST stop for any visit to the city. The roof top area was the icing on the cake of a perfect day.
Dorina B. • April 4, 2014Great cocktail bar, fantastic designer' lounge area and free wifi: all of this steps away from times square!!
Ana Maria Z. • April 27, 2015A very moving and important experience to have since I was in the NYC area at the time of the horrible event. Life is so precious.
Adam L. • February 20, 2016Quite possibly the best slice shop in NYC. I go every time I'm in the area.
Mike W. • March 24, 2012Live jazz. Relaxed vibe. Not a bad Times Square area option. I only had beer but they seemed to be very focused on classic cocktails. Next time! (3 of 4 petals via Fondu)
Brian R. • May 27, 2010Best pizza in the times square/hells kitchen area! Fresh tomato and basil slice is the best.
The Corcoran Group • August 1, 2013One of the better bars in the Times Square area, that actually isn't tourist central. Cheap drinks and great service - what can be better?
Morgan N. • December 7, 2012Best burger I've had in a while. They nailed the medium-rare burger to perfection! Great place to stop for a quick bite while in the Times Square area or heading to a broadway play.
Nicole S. • August 24, 2014There's a designated small dog area but it seems to be empty most of the time
Jose A. • July 17, 2011I lived in this area for a long time. This is my first time ever coming in here. I wouldn't recommend it. Drinks are to expensive.
Max Y. • December 10, 2011The worst cafe experience I ever had. Any time you drop in surprise waits for you. Cafe area may be closed for private party or something.
William Á. • February 6, 2013This is the longest line in the whole Times Square area. Don't come here if you're starving.
rick w. • June 3, 2010Even though I'm not a fan of Times Square, if you want to stay in the area, this is a nice, chill, well run hotel. The staff is very attentive.
Justin B. • July 31, 2013"Lobstah" Tuesdays are great! 1.25 lb Lobster for around $18 includes corn and loaded baked potato. Patio area large and is really nice during the summer time. Mixed crowd, white people friendly :)
Elizabeth S. • March 18, 2011Loving the lounge area - wish we can keep these comfy couches here all the time :-)
Jonas S. • February 26, 2012Don't miss this place - only low key 'secret' descent bar in Times Square area!!!
Avin N. • October 17, 2015Somehow coming here for the first time today after living in the area for 3 years. Awesome, low key vibe. Great atmosphere. Get a seasonal cocktail and stay awhile
Jim A. • June 27, 2015It beats the atmosphere of many of the joints in Times Square area. Great staff, good beers, and awesome food.
Eric B. • September 8, 2016Even if you don't have time for a show, just walk around the area. It's an iconic complex.
Aariel D. • May 20, 2021All time favorite place for amazing and authentic food. Delicious sandwiches has been served. Lemon chicken and chicken wrap are super tasty. Great values. Very spacious area. Ideal for family meals.
Paige C. • April 12, 2015I love strolling though here any time I visit this area. Always something to see/eat/buy.
Joury I. • October 16, 2016This place is incredible! One of the best breakfast spots in the area. I had Moroccan eggs and I regret coming here on my last day! I could've visited this place again if I had more time. RECOMMENDED
Compass • July 23, 2013Take tours of the Lower East Side and re-live what it was like to live in the area during times of great despair and triumph.
J L. • August 13, 2014If one can stand the 1 hr plus wait while eating the delicious pork buns, the ramen is good. However, the wait time diminishes the tastiness of the ramen. Other quality ramen shops around the area.
