Anjali M. • July 11, 2018Great park for the whole family to walk in the heart of the city. The park hosts many musical events especially during summer months. The water fountain is a fun place for kids to play.
Stephanie W. • April 16, 2018It's a fantastic park in the best neighborhood. I love the playground, athletic fields, farmer's market, Zoo Atlanta, and most importantly ... surrounding community. That's why I live here!
Oakland Cemetery • August 1, 2012This park opened in 1940 & is named after banker & real estate developer Joel Hurt (funded by Woodruff Foundation). The fountain originally used 78 bulbs to produce a 20 minute water & light show.
Julie • November 5, 2014New equipment, but not a very big park. Great for locals, not worth a drive.
Melonee G. • September 10, 2018One Music Fest 2018 was perfect here! Wide open space with hills. Twas lit!
Don M. • September 23, 2011Beautifully designed park for everyone. Hopefully everyone will remember this and leave it as they found.

Niecey • July 24, 2013Wow! What a great park. By far the best park I have ever been to in my life! So many things to do here and there is something here for everyone. Basketball, tennis, jogging, beautiful scenery.. Etc.
Dan B. • September 18, 2013Great lil park, urban creek, wilderness, community garden, playground, kid's club, tennis courts; b-ball. An urban oasis and gem of a park in the middle of a vibrant, diverse and fun part of town!
Brad K. • December 29, 2013New dog park recently opened in the area, nice for those live close and don't want to walk all the way to piedmont park.
Bikabout • March 14, 2017The Freedom Trail rolls through the Candler Park area and provides a great connection to Fern Bank.
Elizabeth • July 20, 2015Love this concrete playground. It always inspires imaginative play from the kids. The little "mountain" is their favorite.
Andrew C. • September 22, 2017With no other commercial development (besides Ponce City Market), this whole thing basically is just a huge amazing park of walking/biking trails with lots of cool art installations!!!
Tim D. • July 13, 2013Although bucolic & inviting, this park is private property owned and maintained by residents through the HOA. Private and non-resident usage (parties, picnics) is prohibited w/o written permission.
Amy F. • August 17, 2014Beautiful park views. Relaxing environment. Ice skating in the winter and open air seating overlooking the park in the warmer months. Great sushi!
Jesse B. • April 18, 20139:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Sundays. The Grant Park community, along with nonprofit Community Farmers Markets, launched its own weekly event featuring produce and locally made artisan foods.
Jesse B. • April 18, 20139 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays. This market features a mix of about 45 vendors including farmers, but its real charm lies in its setting along the walkway from the park's 12th Street entrance.
