David L. • April 18, 2017Nice to get up to water, away from the traffic. It's a pretty new park and not so easy to get to, so it's not too crowded. Nice new benches and water fountains, but only in the north side of the park.

Untapped Cities • May 31, 2016Coney Island Creek is a must-visit with a sunken DIY submarine and other discarded boats. You can see these just off the Calvert Vaux Greenway in Calvert Vaux Park in Gravesend during low tide.
amNewYork • July 21, 2013The park that gave the neighborhood its name is a perfect place (especially at sunset) for a swim or a picnic with a knockout view of the waterfront. It also had a recent face-lift.
Karen • June 22, 2018This park is absolutely gorgeous with many different trails for hiking. The Picnic House area is excellent for having a bbq - but you have to show up really early (7am) to secure a spot.
NYC Parks • April 30, 2012The skate park features a 6-foot deep 'street bowl' and a 12-foot-wide concrete "waterfall", ramps, banks, and a free form bowl.
