eric b. • October 16, 2021Good trail for kids and it’s usually shady and cool even when it’s hot as balls outside. Nice playground at the northern end of the trail.
Jamila L. • November 4, 2014Nice park great for hiking and beautiful views. There's a tennis court and golfing a theater and observatory. Family fun!
Stacey~Marie • May 13, 2012Actually start at the bottom on de loz! Climb all the way to the top!!! Don't stop at hollyvista.... All the way up to franklin! Gorgeous at sunset! :)
ℳ𝒶𝓎♍ • September 18, 2019Great hiking trail with views of the valley, the city and the Hollywood sign! Not difficult at all. Only minimal incline. Lots of hikers. Bring water on a hot day, and you'll get a tan
Dader Tot • August 27, 2010Absolutely gorgeous hiking trails. Multiple trails on path or off path; mostly non paved. Share with horses and dogs! Coyotes in evenings.
Charlinda B. • November 14, 2018When you get to the top walk the road and get a 360 view. You can see the Hollywood sign and the houses are beautiful. It’s a nice calm quiet break not far from the annoying touristy areas.
Stacey~Marie • February 5, 2012Run up the hill on the right (not the paved road- the dirt trail) for a kicking workout! The bench at the top over looking LA is worth it!!
Susan S. • May 27, 2014The tree doesn't appear to be tolerating the drought well. It would be sad to lose it.
Micha P. • June 29, 2010Make sure you check out the amazing hiking trails located near the observatory. My favorite is the Mt. Hollywood trail. 360 degree view of LA and the Valley. It is spectacular.
