HISTORY UK • February 14, 2011This road commemorates the site of London’s horse ferry, replaced by Lambeth Bridge in 1862. In 1656 the ferry sank whilst carrying no less a person than the Lord Protector, Oliver Cromwell.

Mikey • May 11, 2016Excercise more caution than usual when crossing the road. Brixton Road is often very busy which means it takes longer to commute. Try to avoid areas around Brixton Station which can be uncomfortable.

Nico B. • September 7, 2013Quickest way to get to Wimbledon... Simply get any train between platform 1 to 4. After 4 stops (17/20 mins) you will reach Wimbledon instead of the 45 mins almost 1 hour on district line.
