eric b. • October 30, 2020One of the most amazing cemeteries. Fantastic history and amazing Victorian stone architecture in the mausoleums. Great place to walk around on a crisp fall day.
Eric R. • October 16, 2011Stumbling into the Cemetery upon the insistence of my dog, I was surprised to learn that this burial ground is a surprising vault of history and an official NYC landmark. Find out why.
Lucas L. • July 5, 2012There is two different cemeteries here. Linden Hill U/M Cemetery and Linden Hill Jewish Cemetery. Make sure not to get the two confused when complaining.
Mark • September 3, 2011Actually a really peaceful place. No cars, no people. Just graves as far as the eye can see. You can't get that anywhere else in NYC. Great for a phone call, you have quiet and privacy.
Ronny O. • September 26, 2016The cemetery ground is very clean and well maintained. The only thing is that they need to build a bigger space from the crematorium.
Kris N. • January 3, 2022Gil Hodges' grave is located to the left of the main entrance, just on the other side of the circle in the road.
Ami H. • April 19, 2022Resting place of such notables as boxer "Gentleman Jim" Corbett, actress Mae West, ballplayer Jackie Robinson, and Chinatown Godfather "Uncle Benny" Ong. Learn their stories, stop by and say hello.
Lizzette F. • September 21, 2013Looks like an old ancient burial with waterfront view ---- very nice and calming especially with all the trees
Rich W. • May 18, 2012One of the greatest film-makers of the early 2000's is here Tip one back to Armand Marin.
