View New Zealand • April 5, 2011A beautiful building with a long a varied history, Britomart is now the hub of transport for Auckland. Also, it's very pretty when lit up at night!
Crytos C. • November 6, 2011For a building of culture some people should learn how to dress appropriately and get some culture prior to going inside.
Josh F. • January 29, 2012Keep an eye out for the multiple Jewish symbols scattered around the building.
Ian W. • July 7, 2010The building looks like it's made of stone, but it's really all made from wood (kauri)
Travel + Leisure • October 9, 2013At this funky redo of a turn-of-the-20th-century building, rooms are a riot of graphically patterned carpets, Midcentury furniture in orange and turquoise upholstery, and black-and-white-tiled baths.
J • November 20, 2019Amazing value and delicious mussels in creamy white wine and garlic sauce, served with frites. We also liked the Belgian sausages with stoemp (mash). Served in a 140+ years old heritage building.
Jasmine C. • September 8, 2014This shop is closing after Oct 2014, giving way to new building development. 😢😢😢
The Station B. • March 18, 2014The Freshest Hostel in Auckland, located in a beautiful historic building in Auckland CBD. A handy location for visitors.
Nikhita K. • June 30, 2016This is actually a decent team building activity in terms of parallel thinking, communication, dealing with deadlines, etc. Well designed and well worth the bucks you pay per person.
Juan R. • December 29, 2011Only two lifts on the building and one of them not working. Pretty complicated situation when you have 8 rooms per floor and up to 18 levels, so you can imagine how long it can take to get the lift
Augusta G. • March 12, 2013If you want a great coffee or to try an NZ craft beer, head to No 1 Queen St across the road. It's a small glass building, great staff and very close to the ferries if you have time before you depart
