Suna A. • June 4, 2016Probably the best Chinese restaurant I've been around the world. All foods are so delicious but Prawn dumplings are amazing!!! Staff were so kind and helpful!
Jessica E. • July 10, 2011Best surinamese chinese food in town. Most authentic I've had outside of suriname. Try the baked bananas!
Amsterdam Magazine • May 30, 2011Located near Nieuwmarkt, this cosy bar provides for delicious cocktails, bouncy 90s hip hop tunes and very reasonable prices. Ask for the 'Hairy Canary', their special gin-strawberry-parsley cocktail!
Mark d. • February 18, 2013Gotta try the mapo tofu (麻婆豆腐). Very nice, but spicy! Very good authentic Chinese food with, when busy, very authentic Chinese restaurant atmosphere.
Giulianna G. • February 9, 2015Amazing huge supply of Asian grocery products, both fresh and packaged. They also have food workshops in English upstairs.
Pulkit S. • October 11, 2010Any visit to Amsterdam is incomplete if one hasn't had food here. Especially if you're roaming around the red-light district in Dam Square. This a rite of passage. Best Chinese food in the world!
YIjun Y. • September 10, 2021Been there when I went to Amsterdam. Really close to the Centraal, literally by walking distance. The food is as good as that in Rotterdam shop.
Brian S. • July 26, 2022Surprisingly excellent food. Much is made if the spiciness but it’s fine. Get the special dumplings, and the duck.
C H. • July 27, 2011The best strategy here is to load up on the chicken curry and fried rice. And maybe the Chinese cabbage. Otherwise, go a block down to Bird for one of their €8 daily specials.
Vanessa M. • April 13, 2017Good standard dumplings. Nice Singapore noodles. Overall pretty good. Nice service.
Lita • March 14, 2015Most of the chinese restaurants in this area are awesome. New King is my favourite. Great taste, big portion and decent price
Woof D. • October 11, 2016Basically low quality take away Chinese food .... and that was from the "Tibetan" set menu
Will B. • September 15, 2014It's fine, but not compared to "Lafayette" or "Harrod's". The restaurant-cafe is great and the chinese food is very tasty, but it offers limited choices and the staff isn't really helpful.
Yannis . • December 17, 2012China town / must try something spicy here , Chinese restaurants have awesome noodles and others traditional foods, also there are small shops around with smart and weird things :-)
