Michael • September 29, 2012This is a great place to take kids and watch the trains coming and going from Union Station. There's a raised platform that overlooks the tracks where you can watch.
David T. • October 12, 2011Green Lines run on opposite platforms but have very close schedules so be prepared to run... FAST!
Sean M. • February 25, 2012Got somewhere to go in the city? This place has moving platforms that will take you there! Amazing!
Charlotte V. • June 9, 2013You can see the station lights from Gallery Place when you look into the tunnels from the Red Line platforms.
Morgan F. • April 1, 2011Quickest way to get to the Capitol. You might even see your Representative!
Joseph H. • May 28, 2011Late night on Fris and Sats, great place to see college guys and gals vomiting on the platform.
Jess Z. • December 28, 2011Street elevators go straight to the platform, which us great, but make sure you take the correct one for the direction you're headed.
Amanda Y. • December 1, 2014Clean, safe metro, friendly metro staff willing to help you navigate, and map of streets and popular destinations once you exit into Rossyln. Easy commute to downtown D.C. Somewhat confusing platform
dgalbers • January 20, 2013As you enter lower-level station, look to train platform, if there is a long shadow on the ceiling (either side), train already in the station. If you hear chimes, don't run. It is too late.
S G. • September 19, 2013One of Metro's nicest single platform stations, rarely busy too, its actually perfect for a photoshoot.
Michael • July 12, 2018Mid platform escalators are usually less crowded
Gregory K. • November 29, 2011They finally fixed the broken platform escalator on the south side. Oh what joy.
