Komen Tidewater

Komen Tidewater is an affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Our office raises funds, provides educational outreach, engages in public policy efforts and allocates grants annually to local health clinics, hospitals and tax exempt organizations for breast cancer services for underserved women and their families. We are proud to have invested over $5 million since our inception in local breast health and breast cancer awareness projects in the 21 cities and counties of Eastern Virginia area that we serve: Isle of Wight, Southampton, Franklin City, Suffolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Poquoson, Newport News, Williamsburg, James City, York County, Gloucester, Middlesex, Mathews, Lancaster, Northumberland, Accomack, Northampton, Hampton, Norfolk and Virginia Beach. We accomplish this through Race for the Cure, third party events, individual donations, corporate contributions, benefits by community partners and other fundraising efforts.
