We're a not-for-profit organization that engages British Columbians in science and inspires future science and technology leadership throughout the province.
Great place to learn about everything from bugs to static electricity.
Just minutes away, a visit to Science World bestows an interesting, fun-filled educational adventure. I personally really liked the BodyWorks exhibit!
Science World also does some amazing after hours events! They hold their own events or you can rent it out! The green roof has an amazing view and atmosphere!
New lobby and galleries are finally open to the public, definitely worth checking out!
So many children...
The screaming kids and tantrums are a great way to resist the temptation to go forth and multiply.
The renos are done so you should disregard the tip that says its closed
Lego Lovers - visit before May 21 to explore the wonderful world of castles, all built from Lego blocks. There is even a Lego dragon and life size suit of armour. Great fun for kids of all ages!
Under deep renovation but still open.
You will be in line for approx. 1447 days, 17 hrs and 49 min
Be prepared to smile, giggle, and laugh the entire time that you're here. :)
You should go to see the movie, the film and the room are so awesome...
Always fun! Check out the special events after dark annually!
New exhibit opens October 12: AMPED! Learn about the science and technology behind music making.
Either it's a technical fault or a misguided effort to save money on bulb costs, but the IMAX movie was dim and murky. Movies look better on my home TV, I'd give it a miss.
Great place for the kids. Lots of stuff to keep them entertain
If you go between 1-3 pm you'll usually just miss the bus loads of kids.
A great place to take the kids on the weekend, and you might learn something yourself.
Stay away from the triple o white spot food was crap
Butterfly movie was amazing
Bring packed lunch and snacks.
So much to do! A must visit especially with your kiddos!
creativity in motion is so quirky and fun. moving art made out of everyday household objects

Creativity in Motion: Springs, Sprockets and Pulleys starts Feb 1, 2013!
For free this whole month! I just came back!
Look for the big geodesic dome and explore the interactive exhibits.
Definitely aimed at families with kids, rather than say, science museum in London. But still fun!
De Vinci audio guide is fabulous!
Until April 28/12...get a free Omnimax movie w/ paid admission or w/ your membership. Limit one freebie per day. Great deal!
Strongly recommend to have at least three hours if you are first time to there. You will want to stay here for long. Also there is fast food available.
Wait until the construction inside and out is completed.
Looking forward to the Halloween Party at Science World on Sat 29 Nov. Download tingle.com to your iPhone to interact & win prizes at the event!
The renovations will be SO worth it. They were badly needed and will set the museum up for many many more years of success. It saddens me to read comments of the naysayers: you're gonna be blown away!
Was not advised that most galleries were closed for renos before being charged (reduced) admission. All thats left are kids exhibits - nothing else to see. Epic fail from admin & waste of time.
Adults pay child price during the renovation!
Science World is one of our family's favorite spots. So much to do for all ages. Be sure to take the demonstration shows at center stage at various times in the day. The "Toy Show" episode is great!
Check out World Body before they go
Adorei!!! Quero vir aqui todos os dias com os filhos!!!!
