I love everything about this beautiful airport ,the interior design, the friendly staff and officers and the aroma is amazing .I think it is one of the best airports in the world.❤️😍👍❤️
YVR is truly a world class facility. One of my favourites. Domestic departure section has some great sandwich shops. International departures has ample places to sit and charge devices. Streamlined!
The Fairmont Hotel is the best airporthotel. If you're stuck and have to stay there, sign up for a Presidents Club membership online beforehand -- it's free! -- to get complimentary WiFi access.
The best way to get to the city at night is by taxi. You can find it just near the exit. And prices are the same as you will get it via apps or direct calls to services 🚕👍
YVR is as close to perfect as an international airport can get. Friendly, courteous, clean. Oh, and the views are amazing! Gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling. I know!!! I am talking about an airport!
The observation area (4th floor, domestic terminal) is a great rainy day - or early morning - hangout for young kids & their caregivers. Nonstop entertainment & easy to get to by Skytrain.
The transportation is convenient for anyone, highly recommend to take a Skytrain and get off in Yaletown station, you won't be disappointed about the local art atmosphere and restaurants!
No need for cab any more! Skytrain only $3.25 to downtown or $2.50 to Richmond. Nice abalones in arrival passageway. Stock up your souvenirs in Gastown though. Expensive here, even if it's tax free.
Canadian immigration officers love to harass and interrogate you randomly inside terminal if you're Asian. They assume everyone is mainland Chinese and carry loads of $$$ on hand. 😂😂😂
The Sky Train is best way to get into the city. After you pick up your bags find the elevator to the 4th floor. Look for the signs to Canada Line. Last price was $8.75 to get to downtown. Be sure to
This is a great airport, if you're traveling international you must wait long lines but if your an American Express cardholder you get great benefits :) other than that this is a great airport :)
If you are overnighting in Vancouver and don't want to drag your luggage with you, there's an affordable luggage storage service available on the baggage carousel level.
Quietairport with awesome decoration based on nature motifs-including a live aquarium! Also lots of native American art. Beautiful. Food is OK. Lots of power points and free WiFi!
Great exit Aiport. Has some good food spots. You need nexus to avoid the lines as don't accept global entry. But at the end you go into global entry expedited passports processing.
I love studying at the observation area located at the domestic terminal. It's open 24/7, free wifi, outlets available, a lot of food options, and you get to watch planes!
YVR has world-class design, indigenous art, and top-notch services. Just 25 minutes from DT Vancouver via SkyTrain, it offers dining, shopping & multilingual support for a seamless travel experience!
When in Vancouver, be sure to visit Fitness Town to learn about all the fun, fitness things you can do in one of the best cities in the world (just saying...)
Canada Line can be accessed by both domestic and international terminals. Domestic is in the annex (take the elevator/stairs on the extreme left of the baggage pickup, Intl. just walk straight out!
Must go thru immigration and customs if connecting to USA from an international flight. YVR is considered the first port of entry for USA even though it's Canada.. But at least you get a Canada stamp?
If you have spare time before a flight go have lunch, dinner or drinks in the lounge at the Fairmont Airport - the best airportrestaurant in the country.
don't hold breathe4parking close2domest dep if you have truck & someone req assist/extra time cuz of long walk w:health issues-ripped new 1 by "commissionaire" for running in to make sure they made it
If you are connecting from within a Canadian city to a us one, there is no nexus line. Give yourself lots of time. Also, if you don't have nexus, you should.
After travelling this year around the US and Europe, I can honestly say this is still the best airport. FREE wireless Internet and free luggage carts. Plus an amazing duty free store.
Make sure to check out and check into the British Columbia Visitors Centre's located on the arrivals level for discountedattractions and accommodations
Of you're early and driving stop in at the Petro Canada station for a few minutes to save on parking the car. And you can grab water or a treat for guests as well.
Here to take a Air CanadaFlight? Stop at the closest bar FIRST and take a shot or 2 of Tequila, then go 2 the store & get some Vasaline. NOW you R properly prepared 4 your AC experience. GOOD LUCK!
normally you go through US immigration and customs here at YVR, except for flights leaving after 8pm, then you do it when you land. (E gates are US-bound only with pre-clearance: D gates are int'l)
White Spot is roomy and even had an open port for powering my phone. All around the food court are plenty of outlets to recharge. Especially on a 5 hour layover.
Always have hope! I embarrassingly left my iPad in a baggage cart last night AND the great folks at YVR (you know who you are!) turned my IPad into Lost and Found! Thank you Thank you Thank you!
If you are flying to America, you might go through customs here, so you won’t be able to do your Global Entry interview on arrival. Also no Priority Pass lounge in the US terminal
Flights to Asia, Europe, USA, Mexico, & other airports within Canada. Rapid transit skytrain & N10 night bus connect the airport's international & domestic terminals to Richmond & downtown Vancouver
If u are one of the lucky ones to get stopped by customs your probably going to miss your flight. I had a great time with the customs agents for three hours!
