Long queue - enough time for a beer or 2 before dinner
right opposite Hotel New York, it is an old factory turned food market. cool laid back atmosphere. I ordered cheese platter and sat outside for the view.
hotel was under Taiwanese chain bookstore brand Eslite so naturally there are good selection of magazines inside the room. also the friendly staff would give you an eslite temp membership card
wonderful savoury waffle for breakfast/lunch. i ordered the one with bacon and some anchovy sauce it was just yummy! service could be a bit slow though. coffee was meh. but food was great
went to the store after seeing Dries Van Noten exhibition at the nearby Momu. the pieces are exquisite and rich in details. excellent service too - so I bought a summer bag :)
wonderful wonderful croissants. the texture was just right - airy and crispy. just delicious!
amazing food with artsy plating. excellent service too! a bit pricey but worth every cent!
weird table layout making a private conversation impossible. lunch was good value though
cosy place for skewers and lunch - and because it's so cosy, it's trapping all the noise from people speaking at the top of their lungs. be respectful of others please.
Selling exhibitions only last for few days!
super great cocktails and they aren't stingy on alcohol - now I'm a bit drunk
the service was ok I find - the Asian lady was very friendly and polite. steak sandwich is nice but not superb. it's hidden away from oxford st and it's good place for quiet afternoon
Great location with view of the harbour - when you arrive they offer you a glass of welcome champagne as well. the desserts are amazing
They play great soundtracks - and it's available for sale
it is the only hangzhou restaurant landed on 2013 Asia Best 50 list -dongpo pork is very delicately made
do try the dark chocolate icecream - it's the richest chocolate taste I've ever had. espresso is also very good too
Keep an eye for the seasonal flavours - they are absolutely exceptional!
