Vanessa A. • April 23, 2017Great Austin skyline view. Beautiful Colorado River alongside the running trail.
Jonathon T. • January 24Beautiful forest trails, and a really pretty river area. Just be careful if it rained recently. The trails got a little flooded out in places.
AFAR Media • February 27, 2015You can't swim in the water, but the left fork (heading west) in the river will take you to Barton Springs Pool, a popular Austin hangout, and you can splash in the water to your heart's delight.
Mandeno • August 11, 2012This part of the river is absolutely beeee-yoootiful! Smells so wonderfully natural & clean. Best part of the river is after the dam. 12 miler is def worth it! Great outfitter!
Denise C. • September 8, 2013The float itself wasn't awful, but the area where the shuttle picks you up is way littered. There was an exploded diaper and table. Probably won't be back.
Millie J. • April 18, 2018Nice, leisurely stroll along the river. Lots of turtles and birds. Places to sit and rest. Shady and sandy walkway. No big hills and some landmarks to see.
Hudson Sutler • July 19, 2017The 7-room Heywood Hotel is a homerun. E Cesar is a stones throw from the best East Austin spots, Rainey and Downtown are minutes away and you can easily shoot south of the river in no time.
Eric A. • February 21, 2013Great spot to take photos of the river and downtown. Careful, might be windy up here!
ℳ𝒶𝓎♍ • October 29, 2015Wonderful 5 star hotel located right on the river and within walking distance of Downtown Austin's sites. Well-appointed and the staff are stellar-attentive, gracious and friendly.
Sarah H. • November 5, 2018The highest point in Austin is a surprisingly easy hike. If you are feeling adventurous this is a short drive from downtown, and has a spectacular view of the Colorado River!
Scott B. • November 6, 2021Chill out on the giant deck overlooking the river and enjoy some great barbeque. The ribs are great, their turkey is super-moist, and an order of their wheat bread is worth it.
Jennifer • October 12, 2011Pizza's good, but the soda selection is one of the best in town. My favorite late-night spot on Red River.
RCRD LBL • March 8, 2011The balcony is where it's at for the best stage views - and the best company. Plus, you can keep your finger on the Red River pulse without missing a beat from the talent.
Josh A. • April 29, 2017Food wise maybe even better than original location. Green River is amazing. Does get a little loud. Will definitely go back!
