Martha S. • August 23, 2012My favorite beach in nyc!!! So peaceful, clean, and comfortable. Connected to a playground, BBQs permitted.
Conrad G. • January 30, 2018My favorite bridge in New York, possibly in the whole world. The views are incredible.
Dens • April 24, 2013Walking over the bridge -- day, dusk, night -- is one of the best experiences you can have in New York. Bring a date. Make out!
DUMBO BID • May 8, 2017Live at The Archway is a Weekly Cabaret Below the Manhattan Bridge — with free performances, interactive art experiences, beer and wine from our landlocked Lighthouse from June through September 2017.
Ricardo Daniel L. • August 28, 2017Less famous than bow bridge if has some great views as well. Gotta give a chance to every corner at this park.
Michael L. • August 24, 2013It sucks, what ocean liners are coming thru that this bridge is always open? Weld it shut and make them go around
Andrew M. • May 31, 2010On the rockaway side, there's usually a food truck parked on the road not far from the bridge exit. This truck has an excellent taco, chili dogs, and milkshakes. Give it a try.
ℳ𝒶𝓎♍ • March 17, 2021Historic Gothic-detailed one of several beautiful arch bridges in the park, noted for its prominent use of brick in its design. Definitely stop in to admire its beauty and take lots of photos
Fodor's Travel • September 9, 2015There are two times each year when people are allowed to cross the bridge under their own power: for the New York City marathon held every November, and during the Five Boro Bike Tour each May.
Lydia B. • January 26, 2015Don't hesitate to take risk (like stepping above the hole where you can see the car under..) to take the best picture of this amazing bridge.
adriana s. • June 3, 2012great place to rest by the water of the east river and a spectacular view of the bridge together with the new Tower one coming up
Kevin D. • August 12, 2013Yep it's a bridge, but the run from east 23rd down to here is breathtaking. Recommended.
Jonathan O. • June 1, 2018One of the city's great treasures. Stunning views of Manhattan, the Brooklyn Bridge and the harbor. A great place to bike or walk.
New York Habitat • April 21, 2014An iconic bridge that connects Midtown Manhattan to Long Island City in Queens.
etta y. • August 27, 2014Love jogging here. Just avoid Smorgasburg Sundays and keep in mind there is no shade on hot, super-sunny days. Clean bathrooms just off the path closer to DUMBO are a godsend.
