Outstanding, definitely a step up from the other choices in the neighborhood. Set menu has gone up to €37, but well worth it.
Good place to hang out, read, play quiet games, or use the WiFi.
Nice comfy breakfast/lunch spot. Heuvos rancheros are really good.
Last call is about 4:15, so yiu can take that last run, or yiu can have a brew...
A nice hike or ski to the old Central Pacific signal hut/fire lookout. The entrance to the old jeep trail is blocked and unsigned, but not hard to find and in decent shape to hike.
Support world class alpinism, buy more coffee!
The fish specials are great, the cioppino excellent, but seriously, you are here for the soup and the pie. Green Chile soup, bread, a local beer, pie, and coffee.
Expensive, but not bad considering the location. The croissant was industrial when it was fresh, and stale when I got it.
This jewel box of a resto has a fresh, inexpensive menu that changes daily. Plat + Entree or Entree + Dessert is €14. Desserts are all house made. Wine list is short but decent, the coffee good.
Brunch menu on Sunday. The eggs are sublime. The potato cakes are almost as good.
