Ich hatte einen Chai mit Sojamilch bestellt und nach zweimaligem wiederholen der Bestellung fettarme Milch bekommen. Als mir das mit Blick auf die Rechnung aufgefallen ist, würde mir ein neuer gemacht
There are buses going to the city center. Free wifi provided by entel. The "subway" is not a subway but is called "free way" instead.
The food is not as good as in the Loki in La Paz. If you are staying at the hostel you don't need to pay cash but can order on your name tag.
If you are staying at the hostel you don't need to pay cach but you can get food on your name tag. You can order breakfast until 4pm and there is free wifi. Password is the same as the network name.
The sizes at the board are the regular US sizes but you actually get less. Venti is only 500ml. And take care to actually get what you have ordered.
There is a Starbucks with wifi at the main square (plaza). If you do not want to spent a lot of money for Machu Picchu reasearch Choquequirao. A lot of tour operators offer it as well.
Regular busses going to La Paz. Not very comfortable. Hot inside. Very little space. No reservation for seats.
It is very cold inside. Their bathrooms are in horrible condition. The service is aweful.
You have to leave the bus from La Paz to Copacabana here and get into a small ferry at a low extra cost.
Try not to get food at "The Palais Rose", but somewhere else. It is very expensive.
The pasta with vegetables and cheese sauce was pretty tasty. The Wifi connection is ok. The music is mostly American and not the local music of Bolivia.
I can recommend the horse riding tour at the golf course in the Jungle. You can book them at Lipiko Tours which is near the Moskito Bar. They have exelent Nachos with Guacamole as well.
The wifi connection like in most places in Rurrenabaque is horrible. The book exchange is empty. There is no real kitchen you can use (but again this seems to apply to most places in Rurrenabaque).
If you are looking for a cheap way to go to the city take the airport minibusses. There is free wifi provided by Entel. There is a Subways upstairs which is not very expensive compared to other food.
Quite expensive, no breakfast, the rooms are quite big though. Like in other hostels/hotels in Oruro there is a smell of gasoline in the rooms. Kind of near the ther bus terminal.
If you are going to Uyuni/Villazon take the train not the bus.
Very nice and relaxed hostel. Great place to meet other travelers. Standard breakfast is until 1pm and you can order breakfast until 4pm. It has wifi in most places and a beautiful roof top terrace.
There is only one hotel and it's obliviously the only place we could find to book boat trips on the lake. It's both awfully expensive. Go to Huatajata. It's cheaper and you have more options.
