The BEST chowder on the wharf hands down. The crab cakes are my absolute favorite. The crab pasta is also fantastic. Love the old school charm!
James CJuly 29, 2013Best Food on the Wharf. It has all of the San Francisco eats that you want to try. Crab Cake is to die for. The Market Crab is amazing. The Cioppino is crazy good and the drinks are fantastic.

Laughing SquidFebruary 21, 2012Definitely worth checking out for the gift shop that time forgot, the custom fisherman carpet, the diorama and the upstairs bar but skip the chowder. Go to Musee Mecanique after.

Landmark aside, the menu and food preparation haven't changed much since I first went... back in '85 (age 3). Not that that's a bad thing. The spumoni is always good and the booze isn't watered down,
Doug TaylorJanuary 17, 2013Not recommended!! Service is beyond slow! Never got a drink refill. Waited 30 minutes just for a check. Halibut was cold and tough and veggies hard as a rock. Food is as old as the establishment.
