Explore Chicago • September 14, 2011Among the Park’s cool features are a pagoda-shaped pavilion, where you can catch a water taxi to downtown Chicago, and a unique railroad drawbridge.
Jenny • June 15, 2012Check out the T&M food kiosk by the water taxi for great food!!
Jennifer D. • October 10, 2011BEST FRESH MADE TAXI SHELLS EVER!!!
jon a. • April 24, 2012If you're staying here during a conference then plan ahead. Taxi lines are usually 1 hour long.
Forrest • October 12, 2011Forget the taxi, the blue line takes you straight into downtown Chicago and is fast!
Kristopher W. • July 6, 2015Get down by the front gate near encore time or you will wind up a sardine and it will take you hours to walk to the taxi, bus, train, etc. The crowding frankly seems dangerous. It's definitely scary.
Chanel L. • May 22, 2018Got the Black Taxy (pictured) and Load to the Gunwalls here and both are great
Lisa G. • November 28, 2012One of my favorite things to do in Chicago -- take the water taxi to/from Navy Pier!
Delbert E. • July 16, 2011Parking for 24 hrs is rather pricey ($50) when most other garages are $30, but you can enter and exit garage without incurring additional charges...I say pay $30 and leave your car for the EL or taxi
Richard B. • April 5, 2012Getting taxi difficult, but once you do, hold on!
Kara A. • April 23, 2014Room decor is garish, the beautiful lobby is dotted with advertisements, no fridge, coffee pot or robe in the room. Dining very expensive. Bellhop forgot a bag in the taxi trunk -it's lost.
Francine B. • May 14, 2010Go to Chicago Water Taxi and sit outside on a warm sunny day while cruising the river.
Fuad A. • April 29, 2011Best way to travel nice boats and good service faster than taxis to get to union station
Dave T. • January 27, 2011If you are heading to the suburbs via taxi 303 Taxi gives the best service and reasonable rates!!
rupert p. • April 13, 2015The toasted Monterey sandwich is outstanding. Great views of the river, you can watch the tour ferry boats and water taxis pass by.
Jeff W. • August 14, 2010#fijihunt @judge03 water taxi is the best most ecomomical way to see Chicago
Michael M. • July 29, 2021I prefer the water taxi over the tourist boat rides just because it is a great way to see the city without constant commentary and it is cheap. The taxi shuts down early though so look out for that!
Michael M. • July 29, 2021I prefer the water taxi over the tourist boats if you are wanting to see more of the city from the water. The ride to China Town is nice because it goes on for awhile and you get to see a lot!
Staffan H. • July 16, 2012Huge and old, feels like I'm in 'the Shining'. Place is off the grid in the financial district, no fun places around - taxi is a must. Clean an airy rooms but the standard is old. No WiFi.
Arturo H. • December 4, 2011Like shirley says its worth paying 2.25 to get on the blue line than taking a taxi
