Simon B. • January 18, 2012Excellent place to stay in the Castro and the staff here are amazing. Also there's an opportunity to meet other guests at the nightly wine social - great fun.
Arthur P. • July 3, 2022The historical place to soldiers is amazing. Enjoy the afternoons with sparkling wine, fruit bowl and cheese plate. The views of Golden Gate are stunning! They also have EV charging stations. Love it!
Max G. • October 30, 2022Very nice very clean hotel. I was surprised, they even had good breakfast, including chia pudding and matcha 🍵 late.
Jessica C. • January 10, 2012Wine, cheese, drinks and snacks at 5 pm. Breakfast at 7 am. Peets coffee and tea, self serve!!
Markus A. • October 28, 2013From its roadie porters to the psychedelic guitar-playing frog by the pool, this 44-room 1950s-style motor lodge in the funky Tenderloin neighborhood is a must for rock groupies.
Rafa V. • January 27El hotel está muy bien ubicado, las habitaciones están en perfecto estado, considerar los impuestos adicionales especiales de la ciudad, traer su jabón de cuerpo ya que hay shampoo corporal
Terri H. • May 20, 2011They are kennel-less boarding (free range pups!) the only place in the city I'd leave my dog. The owner and emps care for the dogs as if they were their own.
Caroline C. • March 10, 2019Amazing - great service
Nouk D. • October 12, 2019Glad to be checking out of here. Our room was barely even the size of a closet... And all the supposed charm of the building is killed by unfriendly staff. Never again!
Heena K. • August 18, 2016Great location, near to union square but also away from the crowds. But note lot of uphill walking! Rooms are large & spa is excellent. Cost of parking is insane as is the ridiculous wifi costs.
Karen • January 24, 2017Lavish breakfast spread, charming innkeeper, convenient to my office in the Mission. Quiet rooms - this is working out great for me.
Patrick T. • 3 weeks agoRooftop bar awesome, great place to stay for SF Giants baseball, literally right across the street
mistermedici • December 23, 2010Get the almonds! Free finger food at it's finest.

Terence C. • April 5, 2015Terrific service amenities and gym. Room is spacious, quiet and comfortable.
Brenda G. • October 24, 2012Concierge, Tom Wolfe is superb. Bangkok suite is blissful. Very lovely hotel.
Jeanette S. • March 14, 2017Love, love, love this place! My new favorite home from home! It reminds me of The Plaza in NYC. Great rooms with modern chic finishings and a fantastic brunch in The Garden Court! ❤️
AmateurConcierge • August 26, 2023Great value at sub $200 a night via third parties (weeknight). Close to fisherman’s wharf.
Brian S. • September 12, 2022Understated elegance. Excellent service. Really good breakfasts with top notch ingredients. Comfortable rooms. Great location on Nob Hill. Steps from Chinatown and Little Italy. Can’t wait to return.
Audrey R. • February 27, 2020Absolutely beautiful! Really modern & bright - perfect for a family or a quick business trip!
Doug d. • July 24, 2016It may not be as fully featured or as chic as some other Kimpton properties, but we find it quite comfortable, the staff is friendly, and we love the location. 👍
Karen L. • August 24, 2016I really like this hotel- modern, clean and comfortable. Lots of fluffy, different sized towels in the room which is a plus for me!
Jenya S. • August 23, 2016Amazing hotel with hi-tech modern rooms. Automated blackout blinds and views over Coit Tower and the Bay if you are on the higher floors. Beautiful bar and lobby - breakfasts are great too.
