- Nicole FormicaJuly 14, 2016A tasty brunch option. Be sure to wait or get there early to get a table. Pancakes are a must, whether you eat them alone or get an order for the table!
- Uber NYCApril 5, 2013Our favorite spot in our old work neighborhood. Feeling sweet? Pancakes. Savory? The Moroccan Scramble. Hungry? The Big Brekkie. You can also get a Grapefruit Margarita at 9am if you need one.
- It's the Five Leaves Burger (with a sunny side up, ananas and beet! Triple delicious) and the truffled fries. And the chopped (spicy!) kale. And the Granola. And the iced coffee. And ...

- John AgapitosMarch 19, 2018Best brunch place in Brooklyn! The Big Breakkie, combined with the truffle fries, and the Ricotta Pancakes are the rockstars! However, the Moroccan Scramble is also an excellent, alternative, choice.
- Viren KaulNovember 28, 2018Braised short ribs are out of the world with accompanying potato au gratin, their signature burger A+. Goes great with the mule! Cozy setting, good for a date, in case :)
- You can't go wrong with the pancakes. Trust me. Also the Moroccan breakfast. And oysters. Everything is amazing. But the wait can be extremely long. Try coming before 9am.
- Steve LeVineJanuary 21, 2022The ricotta pancakes are filling. Three thick pancakes, a whole banana (split in half, strawberries and blueberries. Honeycomb butter and real maple syrup. Tasty.

- Expect a long wait, but it's worth it. For brunch my fav is the ricotta pancakes. The roasted veggies and quinoa salad is a healthy tasty dinner. They also offer coffee to go from a side window.
- Lars GinnerupSeptember 7, 2019The areas most popular place for a decade now - always busy. The food is also really good - what makes the food special is that all dishes have a small tweak of personality, yet the portions are big
- Monica ChamblessAugust 28, 2016Another amazing spot for brunch of dinner... often a wait so I recommend going here if you're an earlier riser. Only a 10/15 min walk and right off of Mccarran Park! The ricotta pancakes are unreal!
- Kristin PFebruary 28, 2023It was very good, our favorite was the fried artichokes with some type of green sauce. was a bit cramped and crazy busy but it was valentines day after all. i'd like to go back and try breakfast.
- Bitches Who BrunchMarch 7, 2017This unbelievable towering stack of ricotta pancakes not only secured Five Leaves as our “Best Brunch of 2015”, but also our best pancakes award of the year. Read more
- You HAVE to go. Is a place one of my Swedish colleagues suggested to me and they have delicious ricotta pancakes! Coffee is also super good.
- Never fails. The mussels and truffle fries are a staple in my diet. Worth the wait or go when they have the limited menu mid afternoon and eat oysters outside with an awesome cocktail.
- Great breakfast, they are known for their pancakes. The breakfast is very popular though so if it's after 9, i prob would try somewhere else. Also great for lunch, dinner and cocktails.
- Justin BaumSeptember 3, 2014Ordered a boulevardier cocktail (negroni with rye instead of gin) and it was perfectly made. Followed up with some oysters and the outstanding Five Leaves Burger with truffle fries. I slept well.
- Bond StreetOctober 3, 2016"You can get a coffee there pretty early in the morning and get a drink later on. I’ll sit outside and hang out. It just has a good vibe." - Alex Mustonen, architect, co-founder - Snarkitecture Read more
- AmateurConciergeJune 25, 2017Still one of my favorite brunch spots in the boroughs....they just do everything right. Always a wait so show up early or have an activity planned nearby. Bit cramped
- AmateurConciergeJune 25, 2019Still seemingly can’t go wrong with anything you order. The wait on the weekends can be annoying, but it’s great to come for a late lunch when there’s no wait and sit outside

- tara jeanJuly 29, 2013The vinegarette w the oysters is delicious! Also their mussels come in a curry soup. Only place I've seen do this, well executed! Pair w the chateau du pas cerf rose for a perfect summer lunch
- Ricotta pancakes are delicious again after a rough spell. Fruit, compound butter and maple syrup are great. The pancakes are quite dense from the ricotta but have good texture, almost creamy
- Matt LewMay 1, 2016The Five Leaves has a small indoor area, so be prepared to find seating outside. Get the cheese burger. Comes with pineapple and beet.
- Juliana AmorimSeptember 18, 2014Thank you, Heath Ledger! Truffle fries are TOTALLY worth coming! Pancakes fall you apart. Awesome place for brunch. Make a reservation and arrive ON TIME! It gets incredibly crowded.
- Emily WilsonSeptember 30, 2016The burger is pretty darn good. Get it with gruyere. Don't debate getting the truffle fries—you want them, they're amazing. Service is so-so, so don't come starving.
- Danny DroNovember 2, 2014It's hard to go wrong with this menu but two favorites are: the moroccan scramble and the burger. No reservations. Plan on a walk through the park or the hood when you're given a 40 min+ wait time.
- RJ DuganSeptember 5, 2013Get the oysters. Few places serve really great oysters in BK and this is one of them. Always check out the specials and the cocktails. This kitchen knows their pork and sea food.
- Date Night Is...April 29, 2013Now that the weather is warming up, grab a table outside at Five Leaves. Their house made Ricotta app is tough to beat for a sharing on a Date Night. Plan to arrive early or late, crowds can be tough.
- Dan. MastrettaJanuary 25, 2014The ricotta pancakes will forever haunt your most beautiful dreams. We had problems with general service but they made up for them by apologizing and being awesome. Will always recommend.

- By far my favorite brunch place in Brooklyn. Perfect ambiance, great food, though the staff (and long wait) could use some work. I recommend the Mushroom Toast, it's heavenly!
- TainaMay 16, 2015Try the duck. My friend had the oddest dish however, one big bowl of pig's meat, that was it. Great atmosphere but obviously big difference in how accomplished the entrees are.
- Nique WoodhouseApril 2, 2013The famous fig leaves burger is a mountain of mouthfuls that is well worth climbing. The menu as a whole has some inspired ingredient combinations (beetroot + pineapple + egg + beef).
- Geoffroy BablonApril 28, 2014The kale salad is delicious, and a little spicy. The burger with pineapple and an egg is perfect for a weekend lunch / somewhere between a lunch and a brunch.
