Hilton Barcelona @hiltonbarcelonahotel is a good hotel close to the centre of town. It is a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport costing about €25 or it's only a 5 minute walk from the metro

Very very friendly staff. Situated in a great, safe and bright location. Rooms are very comfortable, especially fluffy pillows. Only negative thing, the windows can't be opened. Overall really 5*- Gold member and got exec room upgrade. Exec Lounge is open on exec floor so no need to check in at lounge desk. Decent hotel near shops at l'illa Highly recommend - good wifi, rooms great bathrooms.

Nice hotel close to supermarket, beautiful rooms, and near the metro.

Bar design is horrible, no place for your knees, chairs too short. Definitely, sit in the "lounge" but order (the first time) at the bar (they don't notice you if you just sit).
