Despite the apathetic & otherwise nonchalant attitude of the waiters here (15 mins for a cappuccino), the calm & endearing atmosphere keeps seducing me back, good for reading & a quick bite

It is not correct that the VAT is double charged. The price showing on the menu is the same as on the bill but as per the law it is a must to detail the sub-total and the VAT separately at the end

Desserts appear to have been pining there for ages, gave it two chances and blew it twice. I could swear the barista is on a quest to spread diabetes: no sugar please unless instructed! Super $$$ too
For a concept cafe with a library and photos of great minds on its wall, the no chess policy is a thoughtless prohibition.

I seriously don't know why I keep coming back here, I think it's just a convenient location in Gemmayze, and has good seating, but besides that, they have absurdly priced items & slow as hell service.- If you're going to sit outside in the winter, grab the tables by the fire pit.
The chicken spinach strawberries salad is good, also try the mushroom quiche. Ambiance is pretty chill.
- I think I can now safely conclude that no wifi—unstable as it is—& no yummy egg mix can justify these prices. I'll cherish the memories like the lomograph I didn't take because wtf lomos are expensive

There is a certain similarity about the crowd here. Girls with the same jeans straightened hair and little makeup look. Men with just enough stubble, dark clothes and repetitive topics.
Where are my favorite nice and smiling waiters ? The staff has changed and the new waitresses are not the funniest ...
Un coup-de-foudre kind of place. You can't but fall in love with every detail- Check the terrace. (But yes, overpriced and under serviced).

- A pretty decent Fish & Chips; end the unpretentious lunch with a warm and rustic carrot cake.
They have an inside garden... Get a table there and relax... Great spot!

SheApril 4, 2022The staff were rather rude and the service not friendly. The location is nice, but you have to pay for Wi-Fi for each device separately. They didn't have half the breakfast menu at 10 in the morning.
- The mushroom quiche is good. Light, but not the thick egg ones you might be used to.
Crowded & overpriced. Good internet connection though. Quality of service isn't consistent. For instance waiters brought me the check when I went to wash my hands & didn't order it.
Everything is so yummy! Make sure you start your meal with the baked chicken rolls!
