The residence of sultans from 1856 to 1922 except the period 1889 - 1909. Be there at least 13:00 pm to see both sarayi and harem. Reachable by tram line T1( Bagcilar - Kabatas) and stop at Kabatas.

Long line to get in. Must pay for two tours - harem and main palace. Don't skip the harem tour. Also they make you wear plastic bags on your shoes to keep palace carpets clean so don't wear sandals.
