- Andrea NyicsAugust 24, 2014One beer is about 90 czk, meals are well-priced and delicious around 200-250 czk. Great veggie plate and beer. Be prepared for rip-offs. The waiter was so pushy to offer the expensive welcome drink.
- Lasse HoffmannMay 15, 2018Let's call it a lively, touristy place. Expect waiting times during dinner hours, shared tables and efficient service. Shots are not free, even though it's sometimes made to look like that. Good food.Upvoted Feb 7
- GinaMarch 13, 2023It's a rollicking atmosphere with only 2 beers (dark or light) and shots passed around. Excellent beer. I was so grateful for the giant Greek salad. The traditional Czech food looked good as well.
- Anita JusztMarch 16, 2013If you want real check place go further up to Krok Zpét in the same traim line.now, this is good, cheap, authentic.actually no turists here, just locals.great beers, great food.
- Brian DixonSeptember 14, 2018The Sausage and bread is solid German/Czech food. The beer just keeps coming, but how can you complain at $3 per pint! Czech’s have been brewing it since 993a.d.!!!
- Petr J.June 21, 2020Yes, the staff may be rude sometimes, but that’s part of the experience. They brew beer for 500 years and you should know they serve just one type of beer by now.
- Márcio VenturiMarch 1, 2023One of the best dark beers I ever had. Not sweet like a bock or ale. Really nice. More expensive than the usual beer in prague. But understandable for being downtown and for being touristic
- Liam ProvenMay 31, 2020Huge crowds, often impossible to get in. The food is solid traditional stuff, but this is a rare chance to try traditional Czech beer from before pilsner lagers took over. Recommended for that.
- Roman FogtaJuly 11, 2020One of the best places in Prague. They do not ask what you want to drink, just bring their home made beer. This place is a MUST when visiting Prague... 👍❤
- prunechkaAugust 20, 2016Very classic, very old! Amazing beer garden, but with limited menu (why?) Waiters are quite arrogant, but beer is veeeeery good, which I can't say about the food.
- Michelle AthaFebruary 17, 2017Traditional place with nice atmosphere. Beers and shots are served continuously and the food is very good...
- Great atmosphere, excellent dark beer. They will offer you mead or becherovka starter immediately you will take the seat. Be aware it is not a freebie :)
- Ido ShichelNovember 5, 2017First the waiter brings you the BEST beer in Prague, afterwards they ask you if you want to drink. The pork knuckle was excellent. Don’t miss the honey or becherovka shots the waiters offering.
- Honza RyklJune 22, 2017Despite relatively high prices, the homemade beer was very good and food (i had beer cheese) was also very tasty. Very friendly atmosphere.
- Tarlan HuseynovDecember 27, 2016There is only one variant of beer. It is very old and classic dark Czech beer. This place has it's own magic. Must visit.
- Jamie ShawJuly 15, 2017A bit touristy, but good food and good beer. Atmospheric to a tee. Just beware that the "aperitifs" are paid for, but they don't say this…
- Karin GattringerSeptember 27, 2016Nice outside seating, no need to order a beer, it will come to you automatically.
- Irina MorozovaSeptember 5, 2016Very tasty beer of their own and delicious goulash. Crowded but atmospheric.
- ᴡ ÇobanDecember 1, 2019Very nice and cozy atmosphere. Whole place has a medieval look to it. Food and beer are also good.
- Евгений ЕгоровAugust 5, 2015Good accordion music. Dark beer is great here, light and tasty! Big portions of food!
- MefodyMarch 23, 2019This place is extremely touristy, they push you pricey shots every 15 mins, but here you can try the unique beer. Come for short stopover.
- Tin PavlićApril 8, 2016Beer coming on table without order. Be carefull. But one of the best beer and Medica i tried. Medica was the best
- MarcoMarch 1, 2015Though a bit touristic less w/ local people, you can find good Czech beer 'nd snack with accordion players. Recommended!
- Radina DimitrovaApril 28, 2017Try the "Medovina" drink as a desset!!!! You won't regret!!! THE BEST DRINK you've tried...for sure! ❤❤❤
- Simon .January 17, 2015Go in the summer and sit outside for a famous U Fleku black beer and eat something too. Ham with Horse radish lifts the mind
- Katerina VorelOctober 15, 2015Asians and Russians, listen to your tour guide/hotel guide - go there, otherwise places like this would die :D
- M. A.August 31, 2014Very touristic, but nothing bad about that, right?! Good beer. However they only have a black one. I liked it. The prices were a little bit expensive, but you have to go there at least once!!
- Marco Aurelio HernándezJanuary 20, 2019Nice place, recommended by Check people. Good music. The food large but not that good
- Szabolcs HegedűsMay 29, 2015authentic, lively atmosphere, you will get your beer and a lot of shots in no time
- Nikoletta NikolovaNovember 23, 2019They offer only one type beer! Their own one! They don’t ask you do you want... they just serve you 🥳🥳🥳
- In Your PocketJune 20, 2013The loud and boisterous crowds of tourists and locals are a show worth watching as everyone and his tour guide treks through. Read more
- Massimo ParolisiSeptember 4, 2014Homemade beer, one of the best in Prague. Even if the place is the symbol of tourism
- Al VardyaSeptember 21, 2017Traditional Czech, beer hall environment, food is mediocre, only one type of beer (Porter) but it was very fresh & good.
- Dias FernandoJanuary 4, 2013A great place and cery vey lively, but be warned, the price will start stacking up fast. Great beer and good food.
- Toon MertensAugust 25, 2016nice atmosphere and very tasty, dark beer (although normally i don't like dark beer too much), not cheap
- Mariya DzvinkaJanuary 15, 2017Atmosphere of real beerhouse! Noisily and funny. There is only one sort of beer. You will be proposed to try honey beer before your order and it will be included to your bill. No wi-fi :)
- Michelle GerlsmaAugust 21, 2014The typical Fleku beer tastes good, but more expensive than in other beergardens or cafés. Very nice building.
- Igor PopovJune 23, 2019Atmosphere of old tavern with long benches and tables. Various pork set, one one type of dark beer, nothing of fish.
- UldarDecember 7, 2014The tipical stop in Prague. Expensive for Prague, but The beer and The food are great.
- Didi JackyJanuary 19, 2018Unfortunately it’s a bit touristic place and they make you feel you are a tourist 🙈
- Sergey PrasolovMay 10, 2014Pork knee is fine, only one beer, self made, called lezhak, something between lager and ale, dark, but loose
- Jakob FærchNovember 17, 2013We didn't eat here, came only for the beer, which is strong and sweet and dark and of course homebrewed!
- Bella MikusiakFebruary 9, 2015Great live music, excellent beer and very lovely and friendly atmosphere ❤️
- Marcel BNovember 22, 2015Just another tourist trap with fairly rude service and overpriced standard beer. It has some atmosphere, but that should not be all...
- Jana A. KriJanuary 21, 2017It's such a tourist trap, but it's so worth it. Truly Czech, truly atmospheric, especially recommended in summer, when the backyard is open and an accordion man is playing by your table.
- Graeme BlackwoodSeptember 26, 2013If the Czech accordion player is in the house, you're in for a treat!
