Classic small bookstore with fantastic selection, where they still take the time to find what you are looking for, or wrap a book as a present. One of the best in NYC.

Favorite book store in the hood. Wiggle your butt into the children's chair and read books all day! Super friendly/knowledgable staffs too.

Small, well-curated shop with emphasis on new releases. A wonderful place for intimate author events with heavies -- also at nearby Paula Cooper Gallery. Sign up for their newsletter.

Attended a great reading, though didn't know you have to RSVP due to limited space. I was able to fit in on the ledge.
