Definitely one of the best art museums in Ansterdam (better than Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum nearby). Great variety of interesting modern art. Good gift shop too.

Great art, a bit small which makes it cozy but also crowded.
Start from the top and work your way downstairs. Bring a fan in the summer because no AC. Go during less busy times and you will get to stroll around and check out the art at your own pace.
Amazing museum! Rembrandt was a great artist ♥ and visiting his home is awesome. You can find pictures of his students and friends, and his own drawings. So much beauty in the world!
I found this to be one of the most interesting spots to visit in Amsterdam. It's the house of an artist with a good sense of business, who collected and sold pieces from others, an at gallery at home.

Best cinema for art house films in the area (De Pijp, Rivierenbuurt). Get a cineville pass and see all the films you like for 17 euros per month.
Best art house cinema in town, wonderfull bar and you're allowed to take your drinks inside the cinema itself when the movie starts to play.
Art house cinema and if you didn't manage to have dinner, they serve gazpacho, manchego and chorizo sausages.
I love exploring the Ateliers and artists studios inside the shipping company building. There's also the Ij-Hallen once a month which is a huge flea market which is definitely worth a visit
Nice to visit for ppl who loves modern art and graffiti. Not so much to do there, but quite interesting. There are going free ferries from Centraal.
