Stroopwafel comes in two flavors, honey or coffee-caramel, and is unlike your typical stroopwafel. It's more like two very thin, crunchy cookies put together. Worth a try because it's still very good.

You need to book but if your are in to Dutch pancake then you have to try the Brie with honey
The special pancakes are truly special. We enjoyed both the Brie, bacon and honey as well as the chocolate, egg nog and pear. I recommend the hot anise milk to help cut the sweetness, too.

nice cafe with vast selection of fruity bowls - they do mash frozen berries and serve it with different seeds, fruits, nuts etc. Delicious! For coffee go to to Lot sixty one (opposite the canal) 😊

Surprisingly great! I thought it was a kroket shop but turned out to be a small cafe with various cakes and sweets. I love it!
On saturdays there's a small market with local produce itens: fresh fruit and veggies, flowers, cheese, honey, and also a few places to grab a quick bite.
This was my most favourite place in Amsterdam and it was close to all the major tourist joints in the city. Red Light District, coffee shops and good food. What a place to be!
Amsterdam is a great city to just walk or bike around.
