The gnocci is always good and changes often. Always a new flavor, always the ideal first course.
Pumpkin gnocchi was great as well as the paella
Great tapas. Had the cheese plate, flank steak, scallops and the gnocchi.

We had the gnudi (outstanding), asparagus (lovely), mushroom cassoulet (light yet hearty), grouper (sublime), duck (superb), and then there was dessert... everything was amazing right down to coffee.
The marketplace dish is wonderful. Fresh veggies, some pickled and all prepared differently. It's a cold dish like a salad. Yum
We had a starters feast and all of them are excellent. The Spanish Octopus, Ricotta gnocchis, and seared mushrooms left us with a smile.
The fried green tomatoes, gnocchi and braised short ribs are all excellent.
Great restaurant! Everything was delicious, but be sure to try the vegetable tempura, shrimp ravioli, and the roasted fingerling potatoes.

SUPER place for great food, great atmosphere, really good people. Merrimon/North side has always maintained a sense of "community" found here. If you are a die hard Italian food lover you must go here

Love these guys! An Asheville staple stop for truly great food and a very inviting, quaint atmosphere. The Duck breast is ALWAYS properly prepared and the wine is reasonably priced & well thought out.
Fig is intimate with less than 36 seats. Reservations are strongly suggested. Their menu is seasonal. The mushroom risotto is a must have if you love truffles.
The egg salad with dill and smoked salmon was excellent.
One of my favorite coffee shops in AVL. Try the latte on draft with the butterscotch flavor. They also allow dogs inside.

Buffet is always amazing however you must simply try the Sunday Brunch. It is one of the best in Asheville!

Tried the oysters that tasted ok, but no oyster flavor. Elk Wellington overcooked meat and under done pastry. Probably won't be back. Good thing we lucked into half price wine night, made it better.

Creative lunch. tomato goat cheese soup was served lukewarm. Once hot, yum! Berry salad= berry wonderful. FGT = Fried Green Tomato sandwich. Chicken & waffle = surprisingly yum. Strong dessert drinks
