How much more can you ask for then a bakery that stays on point with a wide variety of baked goods, not veering off the path of pure bakery bliss!
Seemingly always packed...but service is great and the baked goods are worth the price. Chocolate chip banana bread pudding.

The greatest savory bakery in Astoria. Fresh bread, pastizzi, ftira, and while you're at it get yourself the ridiculously good raspberry hot chocolate. AND this place is Maltese. Can't beat that.

They play Art Tatum albums, they're super friendly, and the coffee is robust and flavorful. Prices are comparable to good cafes in the area and the space is welcoming. Winner!
A shop with rotating coffee roasters (some of which aren't our favorite), Astoria Coffee is an attractive, quiet, high-ceilinged space, run by friendly folks, with wifi, plugs, in an underserved area.
Great baked goods! Only negative is they have a $10 minimum if you use a card. Not so great if you only want one item!

Two new great coffee spots in a 2 block radius. This one is even better than 60 Beans, for working at least. Big space, great desks/tables, fast WiFi, power outlets and quiet.
Demand a free coffee if you're stuck listening to white hipster girls complaining about high rent and bad dates. Great latté, touch pricey, but the decor is worth staying a while.
This place is horrible during the evening hours. Coffee is cold, baked goods are stale, maybe this is a good morning place?

The herb biscuits are unreal. The egg sandwich is also fantastic. Combine the two and you won't be sorry.
We love desserts like the apple-hazelnut tart, but don't discount the short menu of savory dishes—the burger is one of our all-time favorites in Astoria.
Donuts from Doughnut plant, bread and pastries from Balthazar, and Lavazza Coffee. Oh, and freshly made juices and quiches. Great ambience also.

This place is fantastic. Create your own salads & sandwiches are my go-to for lunch at the office. Also try their tasty cafe creations! Friendly staff as well! One of my favorite places in Astoria.
Get the Cobb Salad. Substitute pesto chicken for turkey. Enjoy.
New item is the buffalo chicken wrap- buffalo sauce with blue cheese is right on par- I'm from buffalo so if you like spicy this is right up your ally! Also great customer service.
