Mac and cheese was awesome. Pulled pork biscuit sliders were great too! Happy hour is a great deal.
Disappointing brunch. "Over easy" eggs were solid rubber, biscuit was hard, coffee weak. The chicken and waffles, however, were tender, crispy, not too sweet, very tasty.
Try their signature house cocktail named after the restaurant. The sauce for the chicken biscuit could be sweet to set it apart.
Great ambience for brunch and. Food. They have a Winston Churchill a la dining place inside and patio in summer. Everything biscuit was outstanding!
El Matador has the perfect spice and funky mezcal kick for Saturday brunch.
Personally, it's a refinement of local favorite, Sweet Afton. Two bars means less clutter and the cocktails are still top notch. Also a plus, extra restrooms and spacious interiors. Good job guys!

Amazing shrimp and cheddar grits for dinner. Starting with roasted cauliflower and pickles raisins is a must! The nicest staff at any bar or restaurant! Also spotted Nick Lachey dining!

I love weekend brunch and afternoon drinks. Mike makes the best cocktails in the Burroughs, and the breakfast burger of chicken and biscuit can't be beat.
It's a cute place for date night! Love their brunch special. Get there fries pickles and there biscuit and gravy. I was in love with their food. Definitely would recommend to others
Many thumbs up for the cocktails. Also, I love any bar that serves bacon mac and cheese, but this one is particularly yummy. I saw they have pickle backs and a pickle cocktail that I want to try!

Everything I've had so far on the menu here has been amazing! The salmon and maduros con queso are delicious ! The live band is absolutely awesome and really give the place a great vibe!
Avoid the empanadas. They were frozen and $3.50 each. The Cuban sandwich was great. The plants outside are artificial. A romantic atmosphere!
The food was good, drinks were okay, I just think it's a little weird how everybody is trying so hard to look like Drake.
Must try the cevapi but make sure to order some kajmak (delicious cheese dip), onions and ajvar (carrot dip) on the side. If you're extra hungry, try one of the fresh pitas (pies) - potato is great.
Hole in the wall with great flaky burek and tender grilled cevapi (skinless beef sausages). A must for Balkan food enthusiasts.

An Astoria favorite for craft beer, Sunswick has an incredibly helpful staff and an encyclopedic food menu. Not sure which of their 35 rotating beers to order? Just ask!
Go to Sunswick and ask the bartender to recommend one of their many and ever-changing delicious beers.
Oliver's is a stand out Astoria bar. it's ambiance is the casual, yet still feels like a special outing. The food is delicious, especially the truffle fries. IMHO it's a perfect bar.
Excellent draft beer selection - the Anchor holiday ale was awesome. Spicy black bean burger was cooked perfectly and very well seasoned. Next time I want to try the organic scotch egg.
