We came here looking for a comfort food brunch & were extremely surprised. We ordered the Chicken & Waffles and Egg McRuffin. All tasted amazing. It has a laid back vibe, BYOB, & very friendly staff.
Best brunch spot in queens and for 2015 make sure you bring your squad and byob.. Large groups are best but I went with a small crew and still got in at a reasonable time 20 min wait time.
We ordered a lot of different dishes. I found most to be very bland. Malbec we ordered was not very good either. Portions were pretty small with lots of sauce. Stick with greek in this area.
No matter which ramen you choose, be sure to add in a poached egg. When broken, the yolk creates this creamy rich texture that cannot be beat. Top it off with some corn and BYOB. Slurp away everyone!

Get the omakase! Chef Mark is the best. They are still working on their liquor license so BYOB!
The omakase is a great choice. Chef Mark is super friendly and engaging. They do Manhattan quality sushi in Queens. It is not a value sushi place. He has fish flown in from Tsukiji.

Having been to a few BBQ this is not the best but queens doesn't haven't anything even close to it so it will do. The portions were not worth the price but service was great. Best thing is Byob!!!
I'm not a big meat eater so I really liked the BBQ pulled chicken and mac and cheese. Chili nachos are good too. It's a BYOB spot so hit the deli next door for any adult beverages. Try the burnt ends!
The Philly cheesesteak is AMAZING!!! The 3 cheese sauce takes this sandwich to a different level of awesome. Slaw is A+. BYOb, $2.79/pp. The burnt ends are good, but John Brown BBQ keeps 1st place.

My favorite ramen in Astoria. Delectable BBQ Pork Tonkotsu, tasty spicy tuna onigiri and super friendly service.
I lived in Japan 10y ago.. is the first time that I feel the true Japanese taste...great food, typically atmosphere, right music....just a big pleasure came here

Homemade guacamole is a must try. Their combos are good for four! Id eat here again with a group (or when really hungry).

Service was top notch. No liquor license as of jan. 24 but byob is cool and there is a good wine selection at the liquor store next door. Veal was great, desserts made in house.
Chestnut pasta, duck meatballs and the pork chop. BUT, substitute the pasta that comes with the chop with gnocchi. Family staff makes you feel right at home and owner always remembers your name.

Ali's tiny spot feels like a friend's house. arrive early, byob and get ready for well spiced mezze, cauliflower and more. Vegetarians have lots of options.
Let the chef give you a recommendation. We had a mixed platter of hummus and babaganoush ect with fresh pita to begin, then the lamb shank for a main. Absolutely phenomenal.
