The 15 Best Playgrounds in Austin

Linda Parker: Beautiful view, well maintained and lots of shade!

Austin American-Statesman: Located in the Mueller development, the playground is next to a lake and also has a picnic area and jogging trail.

Tracey Su: Don't feed bread to ducks. Google for the reasons why.

Lia Koutelou: This is an awesome playground, shaded under beautiful trees and nicely organized for different age groups. Be ware of fire ants though!

Austin American-Statesman: A huge playground, complete with an antique fire engine. Afterward, take a ride on the Zephyr and feed the ducks.

Brenna Kadjar: Love bringing the kids at night. It's lit and cool.

Maegan Harless: Gorgeous park! A must visit especially if you have kids.

Samantha Garfield: Beware the hoard of jogging moms with strollers. They work out on the trail and show up between 9 am and noon.

Jay L: Very well shaded and clean. Perfect for the TX summer if you need a place for the kids but don't want them sunburned.

Galen Orion: Bring a small picnic snack and enjoy the clean and shaded solitary picnic bench. The trees are amazing and vibrant, wide patches of shade pepper this expansive park.
