HOLY S***. As a NY'er, it's the real deal. Awesome coal oven pizza. Crust: right amount of char, thin and crusty, soft and billowy. The sausage is awesome! Won't be ordering pizza from anywhere else.

This is more like a bar that serves great pizza than a typical pizza place. Pizza can be by the slice. It's thin crust east coast style and delicious. Lots of great brews on tap. Wait staff top notch.

The homemade pasta is incredible. Sauces vary, obviously, but the simple heirloom tomato and basil pasta we had was exceptional.
Everything was amazing, though the lamb shank was the best.
The daily-changing menu is limited (one option per course), but not a single dish of the three courses will disappoint at this sophisticated, eco-friendly Berkeley mainstay.

Bread is the best I have had ever! For the main dish, I recommend the pasta with porcini, or vongole bianco. These are great, tastes gorgeous!
Yummy pasta! I haven't been to Italy but I grew up in an italian household and it really tastes like what Grandma Martinelli used to make.

The duck soup here is incredible, and the sword fish and the tagliatelle with beef and pork ragu were awesome too.
One of the best italian restaurants in my book! Try tagliatelle al sugo with a special house recepie passed down from the grandma generation. Extra fun if you get a bar seat next open kitchen!
I may have to come and try this place again. 4 of us went out for a full meal and drinks and the only memorable thing was the cocktails
