This's the sole great atmosphere that I could find to sit outside under the shadow during sunny days in Berkeley. The patio has heaters which is also great in chili weathers. By the way, only cash!
My favorite aspect of this place is their outdoor seating and atmosphere. It's a really good spot to study or just people-watch. They also have good slices of cake and make a nice iced white mocha!

The spicy soup is great. i like it a lot hotter so i dropped a tea spoon of red chili sauce and a good squeeze of the brown sauce and mixed real well. One of the best soups I have had.
Banh mi sandwich is delicious, so are taco Tuesdays!

I've eaten in 3 or 4 mexican places in Berkeley.. This is definitely the best.. Good price and fast and delicious carnita taco and burrito.. Outsranding flavour and quality
The duck soup here is incredible, and the sword fish and the tagliatelle with beef and pork ragu were awesome too.
One of the best italian restaurants in my book! Try tagliatelle al sugo with a special house recepie passed down from the grandma generation. Extra fun if you get a bar seat next open kitchen!
I may have to come and try this place again. 4 of us went out for a full meal and drinks and the only memorable thing was the cocktails
They have 3 different Hitachino Nest beers, had a great meal here, the flavors of the Ocean Umami, the Uni risotto, and the Calpico sorbet with blueberry were just amazing.
With both Japanese and American influences, the menu spans sushi, miso-cured pork chops, sea urchin fettuccine, and hibachi-grilled beef tongue. It's rustic and refined at the same time.
